Additive mixtures for plastics, laser-markable polymer compositions comprising them and the use thereof
The invention relates to additive mixtures for plastics containing phosphinic acid of the formula (I) as component A, ##STR00001##
wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 mean ethyl, M is Al, Fe, TiO.sub.p or Zn, m means 2 to <4, preferably 2 or 3, and p=(4−m)/2 is a compound selected from the group of Al, Fe, TiO.sub.p or Zn salts of ethylbutylphosphinic acid, dibutylphosphinic acid, ethylhexylphosphinic acid, butylhexylphosphinic acid and/or dihexylphosphinic acid as component B, phosphonic acid salt of formula (II) as component C, ##STR00002##
wherein R.sub.3 means ethyl, Met is Al, Fe, TiO.sub.q or Zn, n means 2 to 3, and q=(4−n)/2, and antimony, tin and/or indium as component D. Polymer compositions containing said additive mixtures are characterized by exceptional flame protection and by very good laser markability or laser weldability.
Glycerol-silicone elastomers as active matrices with controllable release profiles
Herein is disclosed an elastomeric silicone composition comprising at least a first and a second glycerol phase which are distinct from each other and a method of making the same. The elastomeric compositions are special therein that zero-order active substance release can reversibly be obtained by modifying the glycerol content of the silicone composition.

Antiperspirant and deodorant compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions
The present invention relates to personal care compositions comprising malodor reduction compositions and methods of making and using such personal care compositions. Such personal care compositions comprising the malodor control technologies disclosed herein provide malodor control without leaving an undesireable scent and when perfume is used to scent such compositions, such scent is not unduely altered by the malodor control technology.
Fluorinated elastic copolymer composition, coating material, and coated article

ASSOCIATIVE POLYMERS AND RELATED COMPOSITIONS, METHODS AND SYSTEMS
Described herein are associative polymers capable of controlling a physical and/or chemical property of non-polar compositions and related compositions, methods and systems. Associative polymers herein described have a non-polar backbone and functional groups presented at ends of the non-polar backbone, with a number of the functional groups presented at the ends of the non-polar backbone formed by associative functional groups capable of undergoing an associative interaction with another associative functional group with an association constant (k) such that the strength of each associative interaction is less than the strength of a covalent bond between atoms and in particular less than the strength of a covalent bond between backbone atoms.
