Sheath composition having flame retardancy and water resistance, and cable having sheath layer formed therefrom
Provided is a cable having a sheath composition having flame retardancy and water resistance, and a sheath layer formed of the sheath composition. Specifically, the present invention relates to a sheath composition for simultaneously improving flame retardancy and water resistance of a sheath layer of a cable, which are in a trade-off relation with each other, and physical properties such as heat resistance, hardness, and wear resistance, improving appearance, and reducing manufacturing costs; and a cable having a sheath layer formed of the sheath composition.
Composition and flame-retardant resin composition
Disclosed is a composition that can impart a drip preventing effect together with an excellent heat release suppressing effect to a resin, and that enables the resin to exhibit an excellent color tone, by being mixed with the resin. The composition includes a component (A) and/or a component (B), and a component (C). It is preferable that the composition contains the component (C) in an amount of 0.1 to 50 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of a total of the components (A) and (B). The component (A) is a (poly)phosphate compound represented by General Formula (1). ##STR00001## The component (B) is a (poly)phosphate compound represented by General Formula (3). ##STR00002## The component (C) is a hydrous magnesium silicate.

Provided are a wavelength selective absorption filter containing a resin and a dye A, which has a main absorption wavelength band in the wavelength selective absorption filter at a wavelength of 400 to 450 nm, and a dye C, which has a main absorption wavelength band in the wavelength selective absorption filter at a wavelength of 560 to 600 nm, each of which has a main absorption wavelength band in a different wavelength range, as well as a polarizing plate and an organic electroluminescent display device or liquid crystal display device, which include the wavelength selective absorption filter. However, the dye A and the dye C do not have fluorescence.
ADHESIVE FOR TENNIS BALL
An adhesive for a tennis ball includes base rubber. The base rubber contains, as a main component thereof, liquid rubber having a number average molecular weight of not less than 10,000. The adhesive has a shear viscosity of not greater than 2,000 Pa.Math.s. A tennis ball includes a hollow core made of a rubber material. The core includes two hemispherical half cores. The two half cores are adhered to each other by using the adhesive for a tennis ball.
AQUEOUS ADHESIVE FOR RUBBER
An aqueous adhesive for rubber of the present disclosure includes: a base agent containing rubber latex as a main component thereof; and an organic solvent that causes swelling of a rubber component in the rubber latex. An amount of the organic solvent in the aqueous adhesive for rubber is not less than 25% by mass and not greater than 60% by mass of a total amount of the base agent and the organic solvent. A boiling point of the organic solvent is preferably not higher than 140° C. A tennis ball of the present disclosure includes a hollow core made of a rubber material. The hollow core includes two hemispherical half cores. The two half cores are adhered to each other by using the aqueous adhesive for rubber.
FLAME RETARDANT-STABILIZER COMBINATION FOR THERMOPLASTIC POLYMERS
The invention provides a flame retardant-stabilizer combination for thermoplastic polymers, comprising as component A 20% to 99.7% by weight of phosphinic salt of the formula (I), (I), in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each ethyl, M is Al and m is 3; as component B 0.2% to 16% by weight of aluminium salts of ethylbutylphosphinic acid, of dibutylphosphinic acid, of ethylhexylphosphinic acid, of butylhexylphosphinic acid and/or of dihexylphosphinic acid; as component C 0.1% to 80% by weight of a salt of phosphorous acid having the general formula (II) [HP(═O)O.sub.2].sup.2−M.sup.m+(II) in which M is Zn and m is 2; as component D 0% to 80% by weight of a salt of phosphorous acid having the general formula (III) [HP(═O)O.sub.2].sup.2−.sub.3 M.sup.m+.sub.2 (III) in which M is Al and m is 3; as component E 0% to 30% by weight of a nitrogen-containing synergist and/or of a phosphorus-containing and/or nitrogen-containing flame retardant; as component F 0% to 10% by weight of an inorganic synergist selected from zinc borate, zinc stannate, boehmite and/or hydrotalcite; as component G 0% to 3% by weight of an organic phosphonite and/or a mixture of an organic phosphonite and an organic phosphite and as component H 0% to 3% by weight of an ester and/or salt of long-chain aliphatic carboxylic acids (fatty acids) typically having chain lengths of C.sub.14 to C.sub.40, where the sum total of the components is always 100% by weight.

CURABLE POLYORGANOSILOXANE COMPOSITION AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A curable polyorganosiloxane composition includes (a) a polyorganosiloxane having two or more curable functional groups per molecule; (b) a crosslinking agent having per molecule two or more crosslinkable groups having reactivity with the curable functional groups of the component (a); (c) a curing catalyst capable of catalyzing a crosslinking reaction of the component (a) and the component (b); (d) a pigment which itself does not emit a fluorescent light; and (e) a UV tracer. The composition can be used as an adhesive.
SILICONE COMPOSITION AND A THERMALLY CONDUCTIVE SILICONE CURED PRODUCT HAVING HIGH THERMAL CONDUCTIVITY
One of the objects the present invention to provide a cured product of a thermally conductive silicone composition having high thermal conductivity and excellent compressibility. A silicone composition comprising an organo(poly)siloxane and a thermally conductive filler, wherein the organo(poly)siloxane comprises at least one curable organo(poly)siloxane, the thermally conductive filler comprises (B-i) unsintered aluminum nitride having an average particle size of 20 μm or more and 120 μm or less and (B-ii) alumina having an average particle size of 0.1 μm or more and 5 μm or less, the (B-ii) alumina comprises spherical alumina with 25 to 80 mass % of the spherical alumina, based on a total mass of the component (B-ii), a proportion of the component (B-ii) is 25 to 50 mass %, based on a total mass of the components (B-i) and (B-ii), and a proportion of a volume of the thermally conductive filler is 80 to 90 volume %, based on a total volume of the silicone composition.
CURABLE COMPOSITION, URETHANE RESIN, AND HEAT DISSIPATION MEMBER
The present invention aims to provide a urethane resin and a heat dissipation component each having excellent thermal conductivity and excellent flexibility. The present invention relates to a curable composition containing: a polyol (A); a polyisocyanate (B); at least one dispersant (C) for inorganic fillers selected from the group consisting of a phosphate ester (C1), a C12-C24 fatty acid (C2), a sucrose fatty acid ester (C3), a sorbitan fatty acid ester (C4), and a glycerol fatty acid ester (C5); and an inorganic filler (D), the curable composition satisfying the following requirements (1) to (3) that (1) the polyol (A) contains a polyalkylene glycol (A1) having a chemical formula weight or number average molecular weight of 1000 or less in an amount of 50% by weight or more based on the weight of the polyol (A); (2) the inorganic filler (D) is contained in an amount of 70 to 97% by weight based on the weight of the curable composition; and (3) the total weight of the dispersant (C) for inorganic fillers is 1 to 5 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the inorganic filler (D), the phosphate ester (C1) being represented by the following formula (1):
