THERMOPLASTIC POLYESTER ELASTOMER, RESIN COMPOSITION CONTAINING SUCH ELASTOMER, AND MOLDED ARTICLE OBTAINED FROM THE RESIN COMPOSITION

The present invention aims to provide a thermoplastic polyester elastomer having particularly excellent extrusion moldability and extrusion molding stability, from which a hollow and long molded article can be stably produced with a uniform thickness for a long time. A polyester elastomer comprising a hard segment made of a polyester constituted of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and an aliphatic or alicyclic diol and a soft segment made of an aliphatic polycarbonate, wherein the hard segment and the soft segment are bonded to each other, wherein the polyester elastomer is at least partially end-capped with a reactive compound, wherein the reactive compound comprises a polycarbodiimide, wherein the polyester elastomer has an acid value of 15 eq/ton or less, and wherein, under a condition of 230? C., the polyester elastomer satisfies (i) the melt viscosity at a shear rate of 10/sec after a preheating time of 5 minutes is 1,800 Pa.Math.s or more, and the melt viscosity at a shear rate of 1,000/sec after a preheating time of 5 minutes is 800 Pa.Math.s or less; and (ii) a ratio of the melt viscosity measured at a shear rate of 10/sec after a preheating time of 5 minutes to the melt viscosity measured at a shear rate of 10/sec after a preheating time of 25 minutes is 0.7 to 1.3.

EPOXY RESIN COMPOSITION, PREPREG, AND FIBER-REINFORCED COMPOSITE MATERIAL

The present invention provides an epoxy resin composition that serves to produce a cured epoxy resin that simultaneously realizes a high heat resistance, a high elastic modulus, and a low color and to produce a molded article having a good appearance without suffering the formation of white spots on the surface thereof when used as matrix resin in a fiber reinforced composite material. It provides an epoxy resin composition that includes an epoxy resin as component [A] and an imidazole compound as component [B] and meets the undermentioned conditions (a) to (d): (a) it contains an isocyanurate type epoxy resin [A1] as component [A] in an amount of 10 to 40 parts by mass relative to the total quantity of epoxy resins which represents 100 parts by mass, (b) it contains a bisphenol type epoxy resin [A2] as a component [A] in an amount of 40 to 90 parts by mass relative to the total quantity of epoxy resins which represents 100 parts by mass, (c) resin [A2] has an average epoxy equivalent weight of 220 to 500 g/eq, and (d) the content of component [B] is such that the ratio of the number of imidazole groups to the total number of epoxy groups in the epoxy resins is 0.01 to 0.06.

The present invention relates to a polyester elastomer resin composition containing: (A) a thermoplastic polyester elastomer; (B) a di- or higher functional epoxy compound; (C) an organic carboxylic acid alkali metal salt having 3 to 40 carbon atoms; (D) an inorganic crystal nucleating agent; and (E) a urea compound scavenger having an amine value of 50 eq/t or more, wherein per 100 parts by mass of component (A), component (B) is present in an amount of 0.1 to 5 parts by mass, component (D) is present in an amount of 0 to 3 parts by mass, and component (E) is present in an amount of 0.1 to 5 parts by mass; component (C), on an alkali metal basis, is present in an amount of 50 to 2000 ppm in the polyester elastomer resin composition on a mass basis.
