The rubber composition contains a rubber component containing a natural rubber and a modified styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber having a glass transition temperature of −50° C. or lower, a resin, a filler containing silica having a cetyltrimethylammonium bromide specific surface area of 190 m.sup.2/g or more, and an oil component. A content of the modified styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber in the rubber component is more than 50% by mass.

MATTED POLYAMIDE-PUD

Polymers are disclosed that incorporate portions of secondary or tertiary polyamide segments connected with polyisocyanates. These polymers have enhanced matting properties. The enhanced matting properties are from creating an inherently matt surface from the polymer without the use of any separate fine particle size matting additives. Conventional matting agents such as fine particle size silica usually results in loss of physical properties such as haze development and porosity in the coating from the matting agent. Composites and hybrids of these polymers and other polyamides, polyurethane with vinyl polymers (acrylates) are also disclosed and claimed.

Bearing material, bearing element and method

A bearing material may include a polymeric matrix of polyamide-imide (PAI) polymer material and a plurality of melamine cyanurate particles dispersed within the polymeric matrix.

POWDER COMPOSITION COMPRISING A COPOLYMER MIXTURE AND A WATER-SOLUBLE CELLULOSE

A powder composition contains 50 to 95% by weight of a copolymer mixture A of a copolymer 1 and a copolymer 2, and 50 to 5% by weight of a water-soluble cellulose B. The copolymer 1 contains 5 to 60% by weight of polymerized units of methacrylic acid and 95 to 40% by weight of C.sub.1- to C.sub.4-alkylesters of (meth)acrylic acid. The copolymer 2 contains more than 95 and up to 100% by weight of polymerized units of C.sub.1- to C.sub.4-alkylesters of (meth)acrylic acid. The powder composition originates from the co-processing of the copolymer mixture A and the water-soluble cellulose B by a drying process of an aqueous dispersion, such as spray drying or freeze drying. Further processing leads to a compressed dosage form.
