Seatbelt buckle assemblies and seat assemblies including the same

The seatbelt buckle assembly comprises a buckle; a buckle supporting member connected to the buckle and including thereupon a first aperture and an opposing second aperture spaced apart along a width direction together to receive a fastener for assembling the buckle supporting member to the structural frame; and a spring to contact the buckle supporting member and the structural frame.

BUCKLE DEVICE

In a buckle device, a buckle body is held in an upper part of a boot, and a lower part of the boot is supported from the lower side by a frame and a protector. Here, a left wall on a left side of the boot is fixed to the frame by a clip, and the fixing piece on the right side of the boot is fixed to the hook protrusion of the frame. Therefore, it is possible to suppress tilting of the boot to both sides in the right-left direction.

Magnetic buckle assembly

A magnetic buckle assembly includes first buckle component, a second buckle component for mating with the first buckle component, a switch movably disposed on the second buckle component, an operating component slidably disposed on the second buckle component and for driving the switch to move. The first magnetic component, a first magnetic component disposed on the first buckle component, a second magnetic component disposed on the switch and for magnetically attracting or repelling the first magnetic component, and a latch movably disposed on the second buckle component and for engaging with the first buckle component. The latch moves along with sliding movement of the operating component. The operating component drives the switch to move to change a direction of a magnetic force of the second magnetic component acting on the first magnetic component when the operating component is operated to slide to disengage the latch from the first buckle component.

Load indicators for personal restraint systems and associated systems and methods

Buckle assemblies having load indicating features and associated systems and methods are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a buckle assembly includes a tang having an opening that receives a web to secure the buckle assembly to a vehicle or a seat structure. The tang also includes an elongate aperture and one or more deformable protrusions along the edge of the aperture. The tang is operably coupled to a buckle frame via a coupling member that extends through the aperture. Upon the application of a sufficient load to the tang, the coupling member deforms the protrusion(s), allowing the tang to move relative to the frame. Movement of the tang relative to the frame can move a colored load indicating region to a position that is visible through a window in a housing of the buckle assembly.

Adjustable buckle apparatus

To provide a clasp that is capable of satisfying both of operational convenience and freedom in design when provided to an accessory or the like.

In a clasp 1 including a male member 2 consisting of a columnar insertion portion 23, and a female member 4 including a cylindrical housing portion 43 housing the insertion portion 23, the insertion portion 23 and the housing portion 43 each include attraction members arranged to attract the insertion portion 23 into the housing portion 43 by magnetic attraction force. A male engagement body 3 is provided on an outer peripheral surface 23a of the insertion portion 23 of the male member 2 while a female engagement body 5 is provided on an inner peripheral surface 43a of the housing portion 43 of the female member 4. At least one of the male engagement body 3 and the female engagement body 5 is provided as a long protruding edge structure or a long recessed notch structure along the axes of the insertion portion 23 and the housing portion 43, and includes a guiding portion 53 arranged to guide the other, and also includes a retaining portion 52 capable of preventing, by being locked to the other, the insertion portion 23 from getting out of the housing portion 43.

Latch Device

A latch device comprises a housing unit, a disk unit, an electromagnetic lock unit, a pressing lock unit, and a detecting unit. The housing unit includes a housing, which has a pressing hole and an insertion slot. The disk unit includes a supporting rod positioned through the housing, and two vertical disks pivotally arranged to the supporting rod. The outer perimeter of the two disks is placed with a hook, a first engaging portion and a second engaging portion. The electromagnetic lock unit includes two electromagnetic mechanisms, two retractable bars connected to the two electromagnetic mechanisms, and two electromagnetic latches respectively connected to the two retractable bars. The pressing lock unit includes a pushbutton, and a button latch connected to the pushbutton. The detecting unit includes two detectors, which are disposed inside the housing for detecting the position of the two electromagnetic latches.

Shell element for the buckle cover of a seat belt buckle, seat belt buckle and method for producing a shell element

A shell element for the buckle cover of a seat belt buckle is disclosed. The shell element comprises a base body made of a hard elastomer and an outer and an inner surface. So that when the buckle cover bears against a further vehicle element with a hard surface, no wear and no undesirable noise is generated and so that the seat belt buckle permanently has attractive visual and haptic properties, a further element made of a soft elastomer is directly connected to the base body and is connected thereto by a material and/or positive connection, said further element forming at least one part of the outer surface of the shell element.
