Buckle comprising pawls biased by magnetic repelling force

A buckle with a first pawl that is biased by a pair of magnets that are oriented in opposition to each other to provide a repelling force, and with a second pawl that is biased by another pair of magnets that are oriented in opposition to each other to provide a repelling force.

Apparatus for coupling a pet leash and pet collar

An apparatus that couples an animal leash and animal collar to form a harness assembly. The apparatus is placed on the back of an animal and contains two separate channels configured to hold and maintain a flat leash in a loop encircling the animal's torso. The elongate and narrow shape of the channels prevents the contained leash from turning or becoming tangled in the around the animal. The apparatus is detachable into two separate components to allow the loop to be removable from the animal. The apparatus also contains a snap bolt connecter for attaching the collar.

A neckwear includes a neckband, a neckband module and one or more torso segments connected by fasteners. The neckwear may include a plurality of pivoting, intra-changeable, metallic torso segments. Also provided are improved take-apart fasteners and improved quick-release buckles, for use in neckwear, jewelry, wristwatches and watchbands or for otherwise securing objects.

Center release buckle with symmetric locking features

A buckle assembly that utilizes two molded plastic buckle constructs. The two buckle constructs are separate and distinct but are identical in size and configuration. Each of the buckle constructs has a base and two loop structures that extend as parallel cantilevers from the base. On each buckle construct, there is a gap space disposed between the loop structures. The gap space is sized to receive the loop structure from a second identical buckle construct. When two buckle constructs are brought together, the loop structures intermesh and interlock, therein mechanically joining the two buckle constructs together. A locking tab is provided in one of the loop structures on each buckle construct. The locking tab can be manually depressed to release the mechanical interconnection between the buckle constructs. The buckle constructs can then be easily separated.

MAGNETIC BUCKLING ASSEMBLY

A magnetic buckling assembly includes a male buckling component, a female buckling component, a first locking portion, a second locking portion, an operating component, a first magnetic component, a second magnetic component and a clearance structure. The first magnetic component magnetically attracts the second magnetic component for preventing separation of the male buckling component and the female buckling component or magnetically repulses the second magnetic component for promoting the separation of the male buckling component and the female buckling component when the operating component is operated to disengage the first locking portion from the second locking portion for allowing the separation of the male buckling component and the female buckling component. The clearance structure allows the second locking portion to slide an offsetting position for preventing the separation of the male buckling component and the female buckling component after engagement of the first locking portion and the second locking portion.

Quick-release connecting assembly for spectacles

A quick-release connecting assembly, including a spring core and a socket, said spring core including a sleeve-connected elastic portion and a clamping boss set on said sleeve-connected elastic portion; one end of said socket is opened to form a hole adapted to receive the spring core plugged into and a hole wall surrounding said hole. A clamping slot is adapted to receive said clamping boss formed in said hole wall, said slot determining an abutment edge for abutting the clamping boss. A push member is located in correspondence to said clamping boss and is set on the socket at the clamping slot, said sleeve-connected elastic portion being arranged to elastically engage the clamping boss with the abutment edge when the sleeve-connected elastic portion of the spring core is plugged into the hole of the socket.

Harness fastening system

A harness fastening system includes a first strap fastener, and a second strap fastener attachable to and detachable from the first strap fastener. The second strap fastener includes a casing body, a tongue and a release actuator. The casing body has an opening for passage of the first strap fastener. The tongue is disposed in the casing body, and includes a support base and at least one locking portion connected with each other, the support base being further connected with the casing body, and the locking portion being elastically deflectable relative to the support base for engaging and disengaging the first strap fastener. The release actuator is movably assembled with the casing body, and is operable to urge the locking portion to elastically deflect for disengaging from the first strap fastener.

Extremity tourniquet with locking buckle

A tourniquet for application to a patient's limb in an emergency situation, and a method for its application. The tourniquet includes a tension-sensing mechanism used to establish a baseline tension in a loop around an injured limb, and a tension-increasing mechanism to reduce the circumference of the loop and tighten the tourniquet as required beyond the baseline tension. The tension-sensing mechanism may be incorporated in a buckle in which when sufficient tension is developed in the loop a pin protrudes to engage and maintain tension in a strap member which is part of the loop. A latch may be incorporated in the buckle to keep it in a condition in which the pin protrudes to engage the strap and maintain the baseline tension. A release tab operable to release the latch is located where it is protected against inadvertent operation.

ATTACHMENT SYSTEM FOR AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
20190216178 · 2019-07-18 ·

A removable module and a housing for an attachment system of a consumer product is described. The removable module includes a locking mechanism comprising a first portion having a substantially planar top surface and second portion that comprises a substantially non-planar bottom surface. The first portion and the second portion are coupled together. The locking mechanism also includes a first spring mechanism coupled between the first portion and the second portion. The first spring mechanism causes the first portion to be biased away from the second portion. The locking mechanism also includes a second spring mechanism. The second spring mechanism causes the substantially planar top surface of the first portion to be biased substantially flush with respect to the removable module and also causes the substantially non-planar bottom surface of the second portion to be biased proud with respect to the removable module.
