BUCKLE COMPRISING PAWLS BIASED BY MAGNETIC REPELLING FORCE
A buckle with a first pawl that is biased by a pair of magnets that are oriented in opposition to each other to provide a repelling force, and with a second pawl that is biased by another pair of magnets that are oriented in opposition to each other to provide a repelling force.
Attachment system for an electronic device
An attachment system of a wearable electronic device includes a removable module. The removable module includes a locking mechanism comprising a first portion having a substantially planar top surface and second portion that comprises a substantially non-planar bottom surface. The first portion and the second portion are coupled together. The locking mechanism also includes a first spring mechanism coupled between the first portion and the second portion. The first spring mechanism causes the first portion to be biased away from the second portion. The locking mechanism also includes a second spring mechanism. The second spring mechanism causes the substantially planar top surface of the first portion to be biased substantially flush with respect to the removable module and also causes the substantially non-planar bottom surface of the second portion to be biased proud with respect to the removable module.
CONSUMER PRODUCT ATTACHMENT SYSTEMS HAVING LOCKING OR EXPANSION CHARACTERISTICS
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a locking assembly for an attachment system of a consumer product. More specifically, embodiments of the present disclosure are directed to an attachment unit that is configured to be inserted and removed from a housing of a consumer product. The attachment unit and/or the housing include an expansion component or other such locking assembly configured to releasably secure the attachment unit within the housing.
Locking mechanism with one and two-stage locking verification
Apparatus and method of locking two devices to each other through a receiver base, a pair of pivoting locking tabs, each having first and second arms extending out from a pivot point, and an insert that is partially engaged within a cavity formed by the receiver base and locking tabs. The receiver base is configured to be engageable with a first device. The insert is configured to be engageable with a second device. An optional push button assembly that has a retractable lip is engageable with the receiver base to block rotational movement of the locking tabs unless the lip of the push button is retracted. The apparatus may also include magnetic actuators and corresponding electronic switches that provide two stage locking and, optionally, provide contact state signaling to an external controller and computer to verify locked/unlocked status of the insert relative to the receiver base cavity and locking tabs.

HELMET STRAP SYSTEM
A strap system for a motorcycle helmet that includes: a first earflap on the helmet; a second earflap on the helmet, where the second earflap includes a receiving ring; a chin strap extending from the first earflap; a pair of hook and loop connectors on the chin strap; and a securing button at one end of the chin strap. The second earflap includes an opening adapted to receive the chin strap, where the receiving ring is a D-ring.
Carrying Device and Method for Handling a Carrying Device
A carrying device (10) comprises one or more storage pouches (12), at least one shoulder strap (14), intended for carrying, connected to the storage pouch. An attachment member (20) is intended for attachment of a long narrow object (3) and comprises a first part (21) and a second part (22), being releasable from one another. The first and second parts have a respective connecting end and a respective fixation end. The connecting ends are configured to receive and lock one another. The fixation end of the second part is configured to allow attachment to a long narrow object (3). The fixation end of the first part is fastened on the storage pouch, the shoulder strap or a frame, at a position proximally behind one of the shoulders (4), thereby allowing freedom of when said long narrow object is secured. A method for handling a carrying device is also disclosed.
Plug and Buckle
A plug and a socket constitute a buckle. The plug includes a plug base and a pair of legs. At least one of the pair of legs includes a first extension extending from the plug base in an insertion direction of the plug, a second extension extending from the first extension in an inward width direction of the plug, an engagement portion provided on the first extension or the second extension to be engageable with a to-be-engaged portion of the socket in a detachment direction of the plug, and an operation portion provided on the second extension. When a force in the detachment direction is applied on the operation portion, the first extension is elastically deformed in the width direction of the plug in such a manner that a position of the engagement portion shifts from an engagement position to a disengagement position with respect to the to-be-engaged portion.
Closure device that is secured when loaded
Provided is a closure device including a first closure part that includes a locking element, a force transmission element operatively connected to the locking element, which can be loaded along a force direction, and an actuating element movable relative to the locking element, and a second closure part that includes an engagement element. The locking element and the engagement element can be attached to each other for connecting the first closure part and the second closure part to each other and are connected to each other in a closed position. In the closed position, when the force transmission element is loaded along the force direction, the locking element is loaded in a locking direction towards contact with the engagement element by the action of force of the force transmission element. The actuating element can be actuated in order to adjust the locking element against the locking direction.
Buckle Assembly
A buckle assembly includes a male component with a body portion from which a first latch extends in a first direction and a female component, including a frame member having a first lateral side spaced apart from a second lateral side with a gap positioned therebetween. A first aperture extends through the frame member with the first lateral side extending about and defining a first opening of the first aperture, and the second lateral side extending about and defining a second opening of the first aperture, and with the gap in communication with the first aperture. Inserting of the first latch through the gap and into and extending across at least a portion of the first aperture, access is provided, through one of the first opening or the second opening, to a side, positioned within the first aperture for receiving a force for first latch in a second direction.
