Device for securing a breathing tube and method of manufacturing the same
A device for securing a tube includes a strip defining upper and lower surfaces and an attachment array on the lower surface thereof. First and second attachment members are coupled to the strip adjacent end portions thereof and define attachment arrays facing in the same direction as the upper surface of the strip. A third attachment member defines opposed surfaces having respective attachment arrays. A first of the attachment arrays is releasably engaged with the attachment array of the strip. The strip is configured to wrap around a tube with the attachment arrays of the attachment members and a second attachment array of the third attachment member releasably engaged with a strap member for securing the tube therebetween. The first and second attachment arrays of the third attachment member are configured such that the first attachment array defines a greater holding force than the second attachment array.
TOUCH SCREEN ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH AT LEAST ONE FASTENER MEMBER, AND THE KIT AND METHOD FOR PLACING, HOLDING AND MOUNTING SUCH DEVICES USING AT LEAST ONE HOOK AND ONE LOOP OF FASTENER TECHNOLOGY
A touch screen electronic device with at least one fastener member placed, attached, adapted, configured, adhered, wrapped, connected, adjusted to its structure and/or to at least one of its correspondent accessories; a kit and method for placing, mounting and/or holding at least one touch screen electronic device using at least one type of fastener technology of any form, type, shape, design, random figure, and/or color; and wherein the at least one fastener includes at least one of the following fastener technologies, but is not limited to any other types of fastener technology: adhesive sticky back fastener, one sided fastener, double sided fastener and/or a fastener attached to any other element and/or material.
Fabric surface fastener in which both sides join together
A double-sided engagement type fabric surface fastener, which includes a base fabric, hook-like engagement elements that exist on the top surface of the base fabric, and loop-like engagement elements that exist on the bottom surface of the base fabric, where a ground warp yarn and a ground weft yarn constituting the base fabric, the hook-like engagement elements, and the loop-like engagement elements are all yarns made of polyester resin, the ground weft yarn contains core-sheath type thermal adhesive polyester fibers, and the hook-like engagement elements and the loop-like engagement elements are both fixed to the base fabric by the thermal adhesive fibers constituting the base fabric.
RELEASABLE FASTENINGS WITH BARRIERS
A releasable fastening features a first fastening strip including an elongated, flexible base carrying an array of discrete fastener elements arranged in rows and columns, and a second fastening strip configured to releasably engage with the first fastening strip. The first fastening strip also includes a longitudinally continuous rib supported by the upper surface of the base of the first fastening strip, the rib extending sufficiently far from the base of the first fastening strip to engage a sealing portion of the second fastening strip, and of a bending strength sufficiently low that the rib is placed in an elastically bent state, when the first and second fastening strips are in the engaged state, thereby forming with the sealing portion of the second fastening strip a non-interlocking barrier to resist flow across the fastening with the first and second fastening strips in the engaged state.
FLEXIBLE FASTENING STRAP
An elongated fastening strap of touch fastener material has a head with a grommet defining a slot through which the other end of the strap is received. Selective interference at the ends of the slot with the width of the strap alter the resistance to motion within the slot. The grommet provides a smooth surface within the slot.
Forming touch fasteners on substrates
A touch fastener strip includes a sheet-form material substrate having a front face, an array of fastener elements integrally molded with a resin base layer on the front face of the substrate and an array of discrete regions of resin (e.g., gripping elements) integrally molded with a resin base layer through apertures in the sheet-form material on the back face of the substrate. The array of fastener elements forms a discrete band of fastener elements extending longitudinally along the front face of the fastener strip, and the array of gripping elements forms a discrete band of gripping elements extending longitudinally along the back face of the fastener strip.
TWO-SIDED TOUCH FASTENER MATERIAL
A two-sided touch fastener material includes a resin base having a front surface, an array of loop-engageable fastener elements extending from the front surface of the strip-form base and having stems of resin contiguous with resin of the front surface of the base, and a backing secured to the resin base on a side opposite the front surface, the backing extending across the resin base and including a web of non-woven fibers including fiber segments embedded in resin of the base, and a plurality of longitudinally continuous bundles of fibers extending through the web with fiber portions of the longitudinally continuous bundles exposed as loop elements engageable by the loop-engageable fastener elements, wherein the longitudinally continuous bundles of fibers extend along a length of the base, are spaced apart across a width of the base, are partially embedded in resin of the base such that a thickness of resin of the base at the fibers is less than between the longitudinally continuous bundles of fibers, and wherein the longitudinally continuous bundles of fibers correspond to areas of weakened tear resistance of the touch fastener material.
FASTENING STRIPS WITH GRIP TABS
An elongated touch fastening strip of flexible material has mutually engageable touch fastener elements carried on the faces of the flexible material to releasably fasten overlapping portions of the fastener material together with the fastening strip wrapped about an object. The strip has a head end that extends asymmetrically toward one side of the fastening strip to form a lateral tab that can be gripped while the strip is wrapped about an object, such as to support growing plants.
