Block copolymers with high Flory-Huggins interaction parameters for block copolymer lithography
Block copolymers for use in block copolymer lithography, self-assembled films of the block copolymers and methods for polymerizing the block copolymers are provided. The block copolymers are characterized by high Flory-Huggins interaction parameters (). The block copolymers can be polymerized from protected hydroxystyrene monomers or from tert-butyl styrene and 2-vinylpyridine monomers.

An aromatic vinyl compound-aromatic polyene copolymer satisfies the following conditions: the copolymer has a number average molecular weight of between 500 and 100000; the aromatic vinyl compound monomer has between 8 and 20 carbon atoms, and the content of aromatic vinyl compound monomer units is more than 70 mass %; the aromatic polyene is selected from polyenes having between 5 and 20 carbon atoms and having a plurality of vinyl and/or vinylene groups in the molecule, and the content of the vinyl and/or vinylene groups derived from aromatic polyene units is 2 pieces or more and less than 30 pieces per number average molecular weight; one or more selected from olefin monomer units having between 2 and 20 carbon atoms may be included, wherein a total amount of the aromatic vinyl compound monomer units, the aromatic polyene monomer units, and the olefin monomer units, if present, is 100 mass %.

THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION
Provided is a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in flexibility and mechanical strength with a good balance.
The thermoplastic resin composition includes 100 parts by mass of a thermoplastic resin which is hydrogenated product of a block copolymer including a polymer block (X) having a vinyl aromatic compound as a main component and a polymer block (Y) having a conjugated diene compound as a main component, and 1 to 400 parts by mass of a modified ethylene/-olefin copolymer satisfying the following requirements (b-1) to (b-3).
Requirement (b-1): the content of a structural unit derived from ethylene is 15 to 85 mol %.
Requirement (b-2): the weight-average molecular weight is in the range of 1,000 to 100,000.
Requirement (b-3): the modified ethylene/-olefin copolymer (B) is a modified copolymer having a substituent derived from one or more vinyl aromatic compounds, and the content of a moiety derived from the one or more vinyl aromatic compounds in the modified copolymer is in the range of 1 to 70% by mass.
Hot melt adhesive composition having improved wet bonding strength
The invention relates to a hot melt adhesive composition comprising a polymer component, the polymer component comprising at least one styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer P having a styrene content from 35 to 50% by weight: a styrene-butadiene diblock content from 50 to 80% by weight; and a viscosity of a 15% by weight toluene solution at 25 C. of 20 to 40 mPa.Math.s, and at least one styrene block copolymer other than a styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer, wherein said styrene-butadiene-styrene block copolymer P is at a content from 10 to 40% by weight relative to the total weight of the polymer component. The invention also relates to the use of said composition as an adhesive for bonding two substrates, and to articles comprising at least one interior or exterior surface coated with said composition.

A coating film capable of being peeled off in the shape of sheet to facilitate a coating film removal work, and is less likely to peel even after long periods of use on an underwater structure is provided. The coating film comprises an undercoat layer to be bonded to an underwater structure, and an antifouling layer bonded to the undercoat layer, wherein: a 100-gram underwater constant load peeling degree of the coating film is less than 5; a ratio of a tensile breaking strength of the coating film to an adhesive force of the coating film with respect to the underwater structure, as measured after immersing the coating film in pure water at 60 C. for 5 weeks is 1.5 or more; and a 1-mm square cross-cut stretching-caused peeling degree of the antifouling layer with respect to the undercoat layer is 0.05 or less.
