Systems and methods for extruded zippers, zipper garages, connection techniques, and uses therefore
A slider garage includes an overmolded body, the overmolded body oriented on a zipper, the overmolded body including an overmolded male portion and an overmolded female portion, the overmolded male and female portions positioned on an end of the zipper, such that each is on one side of the zipper, the overmolded male portion being shaped such that it fits in the overmolded female portion in a watertight fashion and the overmolded body is molded over a portion of the zipper.
Child resistant slider having insertable torpedo and methods
A child resistant zipper closure for a bag includes a slider having a flexible tab with a torpedo. To open a zipper closure, the tab must be held in a downward position to engage the torpedo between male and female tracks and result in separation of interlocked complementary profiles, while the slider is moved along the zipper closure.

MAGNETIC ZIPPER
A magnetic zipper includes two elongate units, each attached to edges of material. One elongate unit includes a series of magnets positioned within a tube. The other elongate unit includes a ferromagnetic material that is attracted by the magnetic field of the series of magnets in the other elongate unit. The ferromagnetic material may also be positioned with a tube. The magnetic attraction between the two elongate units allows them to join to bring the edges of material together and be held together by the strength of the magnetic force.
Child resistant plastic bag assembly
A child resistant, zippered plastic bag assembly having a first side panel and a second side panel each having respective upper portions forming a mouth. The bag assembly includes a zippered closure coupled to the respective upper portions of the first and second side panels for interlocking the mouth between an opened condition and a closed condition. A slider having a base operably mounted to, and cooperating, with the zipper closure for movement between a first position, orienting the mouth in the closed condition, and a second position, orienting the mouth in the opened condition. The slider includes a first wing extending outwardly from the base, adjacent the upper portion of the first side panel, and a second wing also extending outwardly from the base, adjacent the upper portion of the second side panel. A lock is operable between the first wing and second wing, and configured to cooperate with the first side panel and the second side panel in a locked state to lock the slider in the first position.
