Solid cyanoacrylate compositions
A cyanoacrylate composition with thermoplastic polyurethane, formulated as a non-flowable soft solid or semi solid mass, for example in stick form, is reported.
ADHESIVE FORMULATIONS AND ASSOCIATED METHODS AND PRODUCTS
Adhesive formulations containing an acrylic polymer system, a solvent, a defoaming agent, an organic amine, an adhesion promoter, a caustic solution, and a processing oil, and associated methods of making adhesive formulations and products are provided herein.
APPLICATOR DEVICE WITH AUTOMATIC RETRACTION
An applicator device for a product, said applicator device comprising a housing, a product carriage, for supporting the product, that is mobile within the housing between an extended state and a retracted position, and a retraction mechanism configured to move the product carriage into the retracted position after a predetermined period of time in the extended state. A glue stick comprising said applicator device and an adhesive product.
Process for producing tack-free hotmelt material and device for producing the same
The present invention relates to a process for producing a hot melt adhesive (HMA) material, preferably hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) material, having a substantially tack-free coating comprising a novel moulding and spraying step, wherein said HMA material, preferably HMPSA material, can be easily handled, packed and transported for further use. In addition, the present invention relates to a corresponding device for producing a hot melt adhesive (HMA) material, preferably hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) material, having a substantially tack-free coating.
SOLID ADHESIVE
A solid adhesive is described that has an excellent finish, a light coating feeling, and is also capable of adhering to paper, wood, cloth, and the like. The solid adhesive contains water, an organic solvent, a gelation agent such as a dibenzalide of pentavalent to hexavalent sugar alcohol, and a polyvinyl formal resin. In some examples, the solid adhesive further includes a polyvinyl butyral resin and/or an adhesive resin such as a polyvinyl pyrrolidone resin. A feed type solid adhesive may be provided, including a feeding container that is filled with the solid adhesive described above.
Sealant Composition
The present invention relates to a kneadable adhesive sealant composition comprising a first outer portion of a first material comprising an uncured reactive polymer or resin composition and a second inner portion of a second material comprising a curing agent capable of curing the uncured reactive polymer or resin composition, wherein the first portion substantially surrounds the second portion and a process for making the same.
COMPOSITIONS AND ARTICLES COMPRISING COMPLEXES OF 1-METHYLCYCLOPROPRENE AND ALPHA-CYCLODEXTRIN
Compositions comprising complexes of 1-methylcyclopropene and -cyclodextrin, and articles including the composition, are provided. Methods for using the compositions and articles in delaying the maturation of fruits, vegetables, and plants are also provided.
SOLID CYANOACRYLATE COMPOSITIONS
A cyanoacrylate composition with thermoplastic polyurethane, formulated as a non-flowable soft solid or semi solid mass, for example in stick form, is reported.
Glue compositions and methods
Glue compositions and methods for their manufacture are provided. A glue composition contains a metallocene-catalyzed polyolefin wax present in an amount of at least 25 percent, by weight, and a tackifier present in an amount of at least 20 percent, by weight. The glue composition is solid at room temperature and is configured to provide an adhesive layer onto a substrate upon abrasion thereagainst.
