PROCESS FOR PRODUCING TACK-FREE HOTMELT MATERIAL AND DEVICE FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
The present invention relates to a process for producing a hot melt adhesive (HMA) material, preferably hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) material, having a substantially tack-free coating comprising a novel moulding and spraying step, wherein said HMA material, preferably HMPSA material, can be easily handled, packed and transported for further use. In addition, the present invention relates to a corresponding device for producing a hot melt adhesive (HMA) material, preferably hot melt pressure sensitive adhesive (HMPSA) material, having a substantially tack-free coating.
Transparent solid glue and manufacturing method thereof
A transparent solid glue, in mass percentage comprises: 10.0%-50.0% of glycerol, 5.0%-20.0% of propylene glycol, 5.0%-30.0% of sticky substance, 1.0%-10.0% of stearic acid, 0-5.0% of vegetable oil, 0.5%-5.0% of protopine, 0.1%-5.0 of excipient, 0.1%-0.5% of preservative, and 5.0%-70.0% of deionized water, wherein the excipient is C.sub.12-16 saturated or unsaturated fatty acid salt. The prepared transparent solid glue has high initial viscosity; and the drying time is controllable so that the gluing position of the objects to be glued can be adjusted according to actual requirements, which is convenient to use, and the glue exhibits strong adhesion after completely drying. Meanwhile, the addition of protopine causes the pH of the solid glue to be between 10.49-10.99, and accordingly the solid glue is an environmentally friendly solid glue. Within a temperature range from 5 C. to 40 C., this solid glue is widely applicable to gluing paper, wood pieces, photographic paper, paperboards and etc.
OXAZOLINE-BASED ADHESIVE FORMULATIONS
Adhesive formulations and methods for making adhesive formulations are provided. An adhesive formulation includes at least one oxazoline polymer and casein. Methods of making adhesive formulations include combining at least one oxazoline polymer and casein to form the adhesive formulation. Glue sticks made using these adhesive formulations and methods are also provided.
COMPOSITION FOR THE PREPARATION OF AN ADHESIVE PRODUCT
The invention relates to an adhesive composition comprising: at least one hydrocarbon resin in an amount of at most 40% by weight with respect to the total weight of the composition; at least one polyolefin derived from the polymerization of ethylene and/or propylene with metallocene catalysis having a density in the range from 0.8 to 0.9 g/cm.sup.3, and; ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) copolymer in an amount of at most 15% by weight with respect to the weight of the composition. Such adhesive composition allows preparing a ready-to-use adhesive product, applicable by rubbing and which does not require packaging during use.
Application product and application system
Transferring tool (1), which is an application product according to the present, is characterized by comprising: agglutinant (55) which is a material for application, containing a photochromic compound that exhibits color when an ultraviolet light which is a certain wavelength light having a certain wavelength is irradiated thereon and becomes colorless when a visible light is irradiated thereon, that enters a state of exhibiting color when the certain wavelength light is irradiated thereon and enters a decolorized state when a visible light is irradiated thereon; case (2) which is a container in which said agglutinant (55) is accommodated; and irradiation unit (34) that is attached to case (2) and enables agglutinant (55) to be in a state of exhibiting color by irradiating an ultraviolet light towards passage region (X) that agglutinant (55) passes through within case (2) upon being applied onto a subject.
Interlocking Glue Stick
An interlocking glue stick is a hot-melt glue stick with non-planar features on each end of the glue stick. The non-planar features allow a second glue stick to be coupled to the end of a first glue stick before the first glue stick has been pulled into the hot-melt glue gun. Interlocking glue sticks allow the operator of a hot-melt glue gun to place two or more glue sticks into a position where they can be pulled through a hot-melt glue gun in advance of the need to reload the hot-melt glue gun. This allows the operator to use both hands for purposes of operating the hot-melt glue gun and holding materials in alignment. At least one embodiment of the interlock glue stick allows the non-planar features at each end of the glue stick to be created with a single cut of a cutting tool.
Glue stick for a hot adhesive device
In a glue stick for a hot-glue device, in particular a glue gun, having an external contour which has a length and a diameter, a given ratio of length to diameter is in the range from 1:1 to 7:1.
Glue Compositions and Methods
Glue compositions and methods for their manufacture are provided. A glue composition contains a metallocene-catalyzed polyolefin wax present in an amount of at least 25 percent, by weight, and a tackifier present in an amount of at least 20 percent, by weight. The glue composition is solid at room temperature and is configured to provide an adhesive layer onto a substrate upon abrasion thereagainst.
COMPOSITIONS AND ARTICLES COMPRISING COMPLEXES OF 1-METHYLCYCLOPROPENE AND ALPHA-CYCLODEXTRIN
