Slide fastener-attached product
These slide fastener-attached products each have: a pair of element members in which fastener elements are attached to a fixing member; a fastener attached member provided with a pair of element attaching edge portion; and sliders. The element members are directly fixed to the element attaching edge portions by sewn portion for fixing, the sewn portion for fixing pierce and pass through the element attaching edge portions, and the sewing thread of the sewn portion for fixing hold the fixing member. In addition, the slide fastener-attached products are provided with protective parts which protect at least a part of the element attaching edge portions from contact with the sliders. Thus, lightweight and improved flexibility of the slide fastener-attached products can be achieved, and the durability of the element attaching edge portions can be improved.
Slide fastener-attached product, element member and manufacturing method of slide fastener-attached product
A slide fastener-attached product includes a pair of element members and a fastener attached member having a pair of element attaching edge portions to which the element members are attached at positions. A fixing member includes an element holding portion and an extending portion extending further in one direction of a length direction than the element holding portion. The element member is fixed to the element attaching edge portion of the fastener attached member with a sewn portion for fixing of a sewing thread, and the extending portion of the fixing member is fixed to the element attaching edge portion with the sewn portion for fixing. A member attaching portion to which a component part of a separable rear end stop is attached is formed of a part including the extending portion. Thereby, a weight reduction and improvement of flexibility can be attained.
Curved Zippers and Methods, Systems, and Devices for Making Same
A zipper with at least one curve includes a first tape and a second tape, and interlocking elements attached to the first tape and the second tape, wherein the first tape and the second tape are curved, and wherein a curve of at least one of the tapes was caused by compaction of that tape, wherein compaction of the two tapes uses a compactor, and wherein the compactor comprises at least one drum, wherein the drum comprises a notch or groove to allow the zipper's interlocking elements to pass without pressure from the drum while the tapes on either side of the interlocking elements are being compacted.
Slider assemblies and outdoor equipment including the same
Slider assemblies and outdoor equipment including the same. A slider assembly is configured to be slidingly coupled to a slide track and includes a slider body and an actuation lever operatively coupled to the slider body. The slider body includes a first clamp member and a second clamp member that collectively define at least a portion of a track receiver. The slider assembly is configured to selectively translate along the slide track and includes a lock mechanism configured to selectively prevent the slider assembly from translating relative to the slide track. The actuation lever selectively transitions the slider assembly between an adjustment configuration and a locked configuration. When the slider assembly transitions from the adjustment configuration toward the locked configuration, one or both of the first clamp member and the second clamp member move toward one another.
HIGH STRENGTH AND REUSABLE ZIP FASTENER
A zip fastener for supporting one or more objects is provided. The zip fastener is specifically configured so that it can sustain high tensile loads, such as 500 pounds, before deformation begins to occur, and even higher tensile loads, such as 750 pounds, before failure occurs. The zip fastener includes a strap body that has a plurality of strap teeth. The zip fastener further includes a buckle that is connected to the strap body and includes a locking tab. Both the strap body and buckle are made from a nylon material. The locking tab is configured to releasably and selectively engage a portion of the plurality of strap teeth.
Tape member for slide fastener and manufacturing method of tape member
A slide fastener tape member includes a tape body and a core string portion disposed at a tape side edge portion of the tape body along a length direction. The core string portion is formed by fixing a string member at the tape side edge portion along the length direction by machine sewing. The string member is fixed linearly such that at least one thread used for machine sewing crosses while contacting an outer peripheral surface of the string member without being pierced by a needle thread of machine sewing. Thus, since the core string portion can be easily provided by fixing the string member to the tape body having desired properties at a later stage, the value-added tape members can be easily manufactured at a relatively low cost.
DOCK SLIDER
A dock slider includes a guide column. An upper wing plate and a lower wing plate are connected by the guide column. The guide column is provided on the front end side of the slider. The space formed between the upper wing plate and the lower wing plate forms a sliding groove. An upper guide plate is downwardly and vertically provided from the left edge and the right edge of the upper wing plate, respectively. The upper guide plate is configured to limit the sliding direction of the slider. A lower guide plate is upwardly and vertically provided from the left edge and the right edge of the lower wing plate, respectively. The lower guide plate is configured to limit the sliding direction of the slider and arranged corresponding to the upper guide plate.
Element for slide fastener
Elements for a slide fastener are provided, which have high strength and improved abrasion resistance. More particularly, an element for a slide fastener includes as a base material, an aluminum alloy having a composition represented by a general formula: Al.sub.aSi.sub.bCu.sub.cMg.sub.d in which a, b, c and d are expressed in percentage by mass, a denotes a balance, 0.4b0.9, 0.15c0.8, 0.8d2.0, and unavoidable impurity elements may be contained; and the aluminum alloy containing a precipitate containing Mg and Si.
Fastener stringer and slide fastener
A monofilament having, in cross section, a first width and a second width being orthogonal to the first width and being greater than the first width is helically wound about the circumference surface of the mandrel. Each helical unit included in the configured helix of the monofilament includes a pair of legs, a first coupling portion coupled between said pair of legs, and a second coupling portion coupled between one leg of said pair of legs and the other leg of a pair of legs in an adjacent helical unit. The second width of said first coupling portion is oriented along the axial direction of the mandrel. The first coupling portion in each helical unit in the helix is pressed such that the second width of the first coupling portion is widened in its width direction, thereby forming an engagement head.
Closure device
A closure device for releasably connecting two parts with each other includes a first closure member having a rigid first locking protrusion and a second closure member which is attachable to the first closure member and in a closed position is held on the first closure member. The second closure member has a rigid second locking protrusion. The second locking protrusion can be brought into engagement with the first locking protrusion in an engagement direction and in the closed position engages the first locking protrusion in a positive locking manner. The first closure member includes a first magnetic member and the second closure member includes a second magnetic member, the first magnetic member and the second magnetic member being constituted to magnetically attract each other when the second closure member is attached to the first closure member for closing the closure device.
