A distribution cabling tape system comprises a resilient polymeric base sheet having a first major surface and a second major surface, the first major surface being substantially continuous across a side to side width, an adhesive layer disposed on the first major surface, the adhesive layer capable of adhering to a concrete or asphalt surface, and first and second spacer layers arranged in a spaced apart configuration on the adhesive layer to form a continuous lengthwise channel configured to receive at least a portion of at least one distribution cable, each of the first and second spacer layers comprising a second adhesive layer disposed thereon, the second adhesive capable of adhering to a concrete or asphalt surface.
ADHESIVE TAPE FOR JACKETING ELONGATED ITEMS SUCH AS MORE PARTICULARLY CABLE HARNESSES AND METHOD FOR JACKETING
The invention relates to adhesive tape, especially for lengthwise jacketing of elongate items such as cable harnesses in a motor vehicle, comprising a carrier having a top side and a bottom side, where the carrier, based on the cross direction, has a width BT, and at least one layer of adhesive applied on the bottom side of the carrier, the adhesive layer bearing a second carrier, the first carrier with the adhesive layer protrudes at least on one long edge relative to a side edge of the second carrier, where the first protrusion has a width of B.sub.start, characterized in that the first carrier is a woven fabric or a nonwoven fabric and the second carrier is a metallic layer, and the first carrier has a basis weight of 50 g/m2 to 600 g/m2.
Adhesive tape for wrapping elongate material such as especially cable harnesses and method for wrapping
The invention pertains to an adhesive tape, more particularly for wrapping elongate material such as cable harnesses in a motor vehicle, comprising a carrier having a top side and a bottom side, the carrier, based on the cross direction, having a width B.sub.T, there being provided, on at least one long edge on the bottom side of the carrier, a strip of adhesive which has a width B.sub.K of at least 3 mm and at most 30% of the width B.sub.T, characterized in that as well as the strip of adhesive on the bottom side of the carrier, there is at least one polymer strip which extends over a width B.sub.P of at least 60%, preferably 75%, more preferably 90%, very preferably 100%, of the residual width B.sub.RB—not coated with the strip of adhesive—of the carrier.
ADHESIVE TAPE FOR JACKETING ELONGATE ITEMS SUCH AS ESPECIALLY CABLE HARNESSES AND METHODS FOR JACKETING
Adhesive tapes comprise a textile carrier and a pressure-sensitive adhesive, applied on at least one side of the carrier, in the form of a thickened dried polymer dispersion, wherein the unthickened dried polymer dispersion comprises: (a) 30.0 to 98.0 wt % of monomeric acrylates; (b) 0 to 50.0 wt % of ethylenically unsaturated comonomers which are not acrylates; (c) 1.0 to 10.0 wt % of tackifier; and (d) 1.0 to 10.0 wt % of kaolin, wherein a rheological additive is added to the polymer dispersion so that the polymer dispersion has a viscosity before drying of 40 to 100 Pa*s at a shear rate of 10/s and a viscosity of 3000 to 8000 Pa*s at a shear rate of 0.01/s.
INSULATED WIRE WITH BONDING LAYER
Provided is an insulated wire with bonding layer having a bonding layer with excellent adhesive strength on both an insulating coating layer and an adherend as an outer layer. An insulated wire 1 with bonding layer has a conductor 2, an insulating coating layer 3 covering an outer circumference of the conductor 2, and a bonding layer 4 provided on an outer side of the insulating coating layer and for bonding by heat, the bonding layer 4 containing (A) a modified polyolefin, and (B) one or more materials selected from a polyester resin and a polyester elastomer, and the bonding layer 4 containing 10 to 70 parts of the (B) component per 100 parts total of the (A) and (B) components.
CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVE SHEET, LAMINATE, AND HEATING DEVICE
A conductive adhesive sheet includes a first adhesive agent layer, a second adhesive agent layer, and a third layer interposed between the first adhesive agent layer and the second adhesive agent layer, in which the first adhesive agent layer has a storage modulus at 25 degrees C. of less than 2.5×10.sup.5 Pa, the third layer has a storage modulus at 25 degrees C. of 2.5×10.sup.5 Pa or more, and a plurality of conductive linear bodies are arranged to the first adhesive agent layer.
ADHESIVE TAPE
The invention relates to an adhesive tape, in particular winding tape for bandaging elongated objects, such as cable bundles in automobiles for example. The adhesive tape has a fabric support (1, 2), additionally an adhesive coating (3) which is applied onto one side or both sides of the fabric support (1, 2), and at least one marking thread (4, 5) which is introduced into the fabric support. According to the invention, the marking thread (4, 5) is a warp and/or weft thread (4, 5) which is incorporated into the fabric support (1, 2) during the production process.
ADHESIVE TAPE CROSS-TEARABLE BY HAND, WITH A CARRIER COMPRISING A WOVEN FABRIC AND A STITCHBONDED NONWOVEN
An adhesive tape for winding around cables includes a carrier (T) with a first layer (1) made of woven fabric and with a second layer (2) made of a sewn bonded fiber fleece, wherein both layers rest fully upon each other. Between the first layer (1) and second layer (2) there is a first adhesive layer (3), wherein the second layer (2) features at least in part a second adhesive layer (4) which is arranged on the opposite side to the first adhesive layer (3). The first layer (1) features a surface weight of 100 to 200 g/m.sup.2, wherein the material of the first adhesive layer (3) comprises an adhesive and the material of the second adhesive layer (4) comprises an adhesive. The second layer (2) features a surface weight of 60 to 160 g/m.sup.2.
Adhesive tape with fine-stitch stitch-bonded web
An adhesive tape, including a substrate including a stitched fleece and an adhesive layer applied one-side on the substrate, wherein the stitched fleece is formed from fibers, which are stitched with stitching yarns. A manually tearable adhesive tape is disclosed, with improved abrasion resistance properties together with a high noise damping. The stitching yarns may be stitched with a fineness of at least F24.
High-temperature and flame-resistant colored adhesive tape, use of a substrate for its manufacture, and cable harness including such an adhesive tape
A colored adhesive tape (1), in particular a yellow, orange-colored, or black adhesive tape (1), preferably a cable wrapping tape, with a temperature class of at least T3 (LV 312), including a textile substrate with a polymer plastic substrate (4, 4a, 4b), on which an adhesive material (5, 5a, 5b) is applied. In order to improve the temperature stability of the tape, while maintaining advantageous properties, the color of at least a part of the substrate (4, 4a, 4b) is formed by the inherent color of the polymer plastic material. The tape is preferably substrate formed of a polymer plastic materials which are aromatic, nitrogen-containing polymers from the group of polyoxadiazoles (POD), polybenzobisoxazoles (PBO) or polybenzimidazoles (PBI) (4, 4a, 4b). The adhesive tape (1) may be used as a cable harness (3).
