Tamper evident security labels
10377117 · 2019-08-13 · ·

Labels and multilayer adhesive assemblies and laminates are described that contain one or more tamper indicating layers. After adhering to a surface of interest, upon attempted removal of the label from the surface or other manipulation of the label, the label separates along the tamper indicating layer. One or both exposed faces of the separated tamper indicating layer may include tamper indicating and or authenticity indicating provisions such as indicia to further provide evidence of attempted tampering.

DISCLOSING MOVEMENT
20190234987 · 2019-08-01 ·

A medium such as an ink or sealant for disclosing movement is provided. Also provided are a tape having the medium applied to it, and a method of disclosing movement of one or more elements. The medium is applicable as a settable liquid or paste to components, such as a nut and bolt or a flexible hydraulic hose, for which untightening or kinking movement is to be detected. The medium has an appearance, e.g. color, and contains distributed microspheres containing a second liquid having a different, usually much brighter, appearance. Once the medium is set, unwanted movement, such as untightening of the nut or kinking of the hose, will fracture the microspheres and the second liquid will be released to transform the appearance of the medium and alert an observer.

Authenticity label for items

Disclosed are various embodiments of multi-layer identifier labels. In one embodiment, a multi-layer identifier label includes an upper layer bearing a public identifier, a lower layer bearing a private identifier, and an adhesive backing below the lower layer. The upper layer may be removably attached to the lower layer, and the lower layer may be non-visible underneath the upper layer. Peeling away the upper layer to reveal the lower layer may be a tamper-evident action.

UNSEALING INDICATION STRUCTURE OF COUNTERFEIT TAPE
20190077996 · 2019-03-14 ·

An unsealing indication structure of a counterfeit tape includes: a substrate layer, being a plastic sheet; and an adhesive layer, adhered to the backside of the substrate layer. The adhesive layer is adhered to a sealed object and has a tensile tension smaller than an adhesive force between the adhesive layer and the sealed object, so that when an external force greater than the adhesive force is acted between the adhesive layer and the sealed object, the substrate layer is deformed to produce a wrinkle, and the unsealed counterfeit tape shows a multi-indication status and provides an excellent effect of observability. In addition, no substance or mark of the adhesive remains on the sealed object, and the unsealed counterfeit tape may be adhered to the sealed object again for further use after it is torn and opened, so as to provide a convenient and economic sealing operation.

SEALING DEVICE FOR SECURING PACKAGING MATERIAL
20190071202 · 2019-03-07 ·

Disclosed is a sealing device for securing a packaging material. The sealing device for securing the packaging material comprises: a tape supply reel for supplying a sealing tape to which an RFID tag has been coupled; and a sealing part for sealing, with the sealing tape, an opening of a plastic packaging material holding a product, wherein the sealing part adheres the RFID tag, which is coupled to one end of the sealing tape having the length for one use, to an adhesive positioned on the other end portion of the sealing tape having the length for one use, wherein the RFID tag is broken by the adhesive strength with respect to the other end portion when the sealing tape sealing the plastic packaging material is torn.

EASILY PEELABLE LAMINATE LABEL, PRODUCTION METHOD THEREOF, USAGE METHOD THEREOF, ADHEREND WITH EASILY PEELABLE LAMINATE LABEL, AND OPENING DETERMINATION METHOD
20190009491 · 2019-01-10 · ·

The present invention provides an easily peelable laminate label including a base layer A, a brittle layer B, a visually recognizable layer C, an inhibition layer D, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer E; the brittle layer B, the visually recognizable layer C, and the inhibition layer D being laminated in this order between the base layer A and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer E; the brittle layer B and the visually recognizable layer C being in contact with each other, the visually recognizable layer C and the inhibition layer D being in contact with each other, the inhibition layer D being disposed in a discontinuous pattern; and a form of failure when the easily peelable laminate label is subjected to 180 peeling being delamination and/or adhesive failure at an interface between the inhibition layer D and the layer in contact with the inhibition layer D.

PROCESS FOR PROTECTING A DOCUMENT, PROTECTIVE DEVICE COMPRISING AN ADHESIVE LAYER AND DOCUMENT
20180370273 · 2018-12-27 · ·

The invention relates to a process for protecting variable inscriptions of a document in which: a transparent film is bonded to a face of said document with a view to protecting variable inscriptions of said document, by at least one adhesive layer comprising at least one thermoplastic polymer having a glass transition temperature between 40 C. and 110 C. and having a hydroxyl value between 3 mg of KOH/g and 60 mg of KOH/g and/or an acid value between 2 mg of KOH/g and 150 mg of KOH/g, said adhesive layer comprises a crosslinking agent having at least 2.8 functions selected from the group formed of isocyanates, carbodiimides, aziridines and alkoxysilanes, during the bonding, a crosslinking of said adhesive layer is carried out. The invention also relates to a protective device and to a document.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL, INTELLIGENT AND ECO-FRIENDLY TAPE
20180350274 · 2018-12-06 ·

A multi-functional, intelligent and eco-friendly tape comprising a base layer, a tag having a RFID function, a two-dimensional code printing layer and a barcode printing layer; the tag having a RFID function is composited with the base layer, and the two-dimensional code printing layer and the barcode printing layer are printed on the front surface of the base layer; through the tag having a RFID function, the two-dimensional code printing layer and the barcode printing layer, the anti-counterfeiting information of the present invention can be read by RFID readers, two-dimensional code readers or barcode readers, resulting in an intelligent anti-counterfeiting function, which is convenient, cost-effective and multi-functional.
