METHOD AND SYSTEM TO PROVIDE A REPOSITIONABLE TRANSLUCENT CAST VINYL FILM WITH AN AIR-EGRESS ADHESIVE LAYER
20220127504 · 2022-04-28 · ·

Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of cast vinyl film and, more particularly, to a method and system to provide a repositionable translucent cast vinyl film with an air egress adhesive layer. In one aspect, a method includes mixing a solvent based polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol with a stabilizer and an additive to get a desired shade of pellucid tint of a translucent thermoplastic stretch wrap film. Further, the method includes casting the polyvinyl chloride (PVC) organosol onto a film carrier and moving the film carrier through a plurality of ovens at varying temperatures to care into a solid film. The cured solid film is laminated to an air-egress liner casted with a solvent-borne acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide ease of installation. The adhesive includes an air release patterning to allow escape of air from back of the film while repositioning the film around a complex shaped surface.

FLOOR MARKING TAPE
20230295471 · 2023-09-21 ·

The present disclosure provides a floor marking tape. The floor marking tape has a total thickness of less than 40 mil (1.016 mm). The floor marking tape includes (A) a top layer including a polymer having a flexural strength of greater than 2,100 psi (14.48 MPa) and (B) an adhesive layer including a pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) in contact with the top layer.

FLEXIBLE HARDGOODS WITH ENHANCED PEEL REMOVABILITY
20220022668 · 2022-01-27 ·

The present disclosure provides adhesive mounting articles that can be removed from surfaces without damage by having reduced contribution of a hardgood to the peel force generated by the adhesive article during removal. In some instances, this can be accomplished by a hardgood that is flexible in a peel direction and rigid in a weight hanging direction. Such hardgoods may include a plurality of minimally connected body segments arranged about the transverse axis of the hardgood body.

PERFORATED MASKING TAPE
20230332018 · 2023-10-19 ·

The inventive perforated tape is a masking tape that has an elongate tape member further having a polymer coating top layer, a biodegradable paper mask layer middle layer, and a biodegradable polymer perforated lining member contiguously coupled to a bottom surface of the paper mask layer, a plurality of hole members parallelly disposed laterally and longitudinally substantially covering the entire polymer perforated lining member. The polymer perforated lining member further includes a plurality of solid portions of the polymer perforated lining member disposed laterally and longitudinally between the plurality of hole members adapted to resist tear so the elongate tape member tears substantially perpendicularly to longitudinal sides of the elongate tape member along a user-selected one row of a plurality of linear rows of hole members. An adhesive compound is disposed substantially on the entire bottom surface of the perforated lining member.

Lifting sensor patch

The described embodiments relate to a sensor patch that can be temporarily removed and re-applied in the same location using a side element of the sensor patch. The side element can be folded onto the sensor patch when the sensor patch is adhered to an object such as an appendage of a person. The side element can be unfolded and adhered to the appendage in order to preserve the placement of the sensor patch on the appendage. In this way, maintenance such as cleaning can be performed on the area where the sensor patch is located without having to dispose of the sensor patch. Once maintenance is completed, the side element can be folded back onto a surface of the sensor patch until maintenance is to be performed again.

Adhesive film, preparation method thereof, display device and method for removing adhesive film

An adhesive film includes an adhesive film body, and a plurality of deformable particles dispersed in the adhesive film body. A volume of each of the plurality of deformable particles is capable of shrinking under a trigger condition.

ANTIMICROBIAL ADHESIVE FILMS FOR AIRCRAFT FIXTURES

Described are self-cleaning films that can be removably attached to passenger cabin furnishings to prevent the spread of pathogens. A self-cleaning film can include an adherable element having an adhesive layer (407, 507), an antimicrobial material connected with the adhesive layer (407, 507) to sanitize the adhesive self-cleaning antimicrobial element (627), and an abrasion-resistant surface that resists damage to the self-cleaning film during repeated washings. The self-cleaning element is sized to conform to a exposed surface of a passenger seat (101).

METHOD FOR RECONFIGURING A MUSICAL INSTRUMENT, AND ASSOCIATED STICKER
20220251424 · 2022-08-11 ·

The invention concerns a method for reconfiguring a musical instrument. The method includes a step of applying a sticker on at least one technical surface of the musical instrument, characterized in that this application is made without glue and in that the sticker comprises an elastomer layer configured to come into contact with the technical surface and adhere to it in a reversible manner without application of glue. The invention further concerns a sticker and an associated manufacturing method.

ADHESIVE FILM HAVING THREE-DIMENSIONAL MOLDED SHAPE
20220251427 · 2022-08-11 ·

An object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive film that can be applied easily to an adherend having a three-dimensional shape. An adhesive film according to the present disclosure is an adhesive film having a three-dimensional molded shape and including: a base layer; an adhesive layer including a fine structure in a surface; and a liner layer covering the adhesive layer. The fine structure of the adhesive layer includes a plurality of convex parts. Each of the plurality of convex parts includes two or more parts joined to each other via an interface. A first part present in a top of the convex part includes a non-adhesive or weak adhesive material, and a second part present below the first part includes a strong adhesive material.

ADJUSTABLE ADHESIVE ARTICLES WITH PERMISSIBLE MOVEMENT PARALLEL TO BONDING PLANE

The present disclosure provides adhesive mounting articles that permit sliding movement along a primary path, even while the article is fixed between a mounting object and a mounting surface. The adhesive articles can allow user precise control over the location and orientation of his or her mounting object, particularly frames.
