ADHESIVE SHEET
The present disclosure provides an adhesive sheet. The adhesive sheet in the present disclosure comprises a substrate layer and an adhesive layer provided on at least one surface of the substrate layer. The surface roughness of the adhesive layer is as follows: Ra: 0.2 to 1.5 ?m, preferably 0.4 to 1.0 ?m; Rz: 2.0 to 15.0 ?m, preferably 3.0 to 10.0 ?m, and Ra/Rz is 3.0 to 30.0, preferably 5.0 to 20.0. The adhesive sheet in the present disclosure has excellent adhesion, flatness, and reusability (reworkability) and is easily peelable after use.
PROGRAMMABLE ADHESION USING NONLINEAR KIRIGAMI STRUCTURES
The invention relates to an adhesive system comprising a fabricated structure having alternating regions that are unpatterned and patterned along its longitudinal length. Patterned regions have at least one subregion with a non-linear cut relative to the transverse direction across the width of the structure. The geometry, location of the subregion(s), number of nonlinear cuts, and other parameters allow tuning as well as pinpoint programming of the adhesive properties either along the entire width and length or the strip or just at pinpointed subregions of the strip. Such tuning can include not only adhesive strength, but its adhesive strength in certain peeling directions.
PRESSURE TUNABLE ADHESIVE SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USE
Pressure tunable adhesive systems and methods for making and using the adhesive systems. Such a pressure tunable adhesive system includes an elastic adhesive substrate and patterns of asperities on a surface of the elastic adhesive substrate. The asperities are microscale and stiffer than the elastic adhesive substrate.
Enhanced Spackle Application Device
An enhanced spackle application device for facilitating an application of spackle to drywall includes a taping member having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a perimeter edge. The bottom surface is semi-adhesive and removably fastens upon a joint of a drywall. The joint is between adjacently positioned and abutting drywall panels. The perimeter edge is crenulated and facilitates blending spackle applied on the top surface of the taping member onto the drywall. The perimeter edge includes a pair of lateral edges, a first edge, and an end edge. A crease line is spaced between the lateral edges and is elongated from the first end to the end edge. The taping member is wound about a circular center member to define a roll of tape.
Back-off preventing resealable adhesives
Adhesive compositions that replace gaskets and liners in sealing applications for packages that are detachable with hand force are described. The adhesive compositions are particularly useful in preventing leaks and spillage during storage and transport of its packaged contents. Advantageously, the adhesive composition provides packages with (1) a removal torque of from about 4 to about 20 in-lb and (2) resealable torque on subsequent openings of from about 2 to about 15 in-lb, measured in accordance to ASTM D2063.
Gel elastomer fastening device
A user positioning apparatus is provided including a malleable pad including a first gel elastomer. The first gel elastomer is releasably connectable to the second gel elastomer, and an adhesive layer is connected to the second gel elastomer. Further provided is a user positioning method. The user positioning method includes providing a malleable pad including a first gel elastomer, providing a platform, connecting the malleable pad to the platform via the first gel elastomer, providing a user, and positioning a body part of the user on the malleable pad. Further provided are a releasable fastening system, a releasable band, and a method for connecting a user to a platform. Further provided is a user positioning device including a malleable pad including a gel elastomer, the gel elastomer including a reaction product of a composition including an isocyanate prepolymer and a polyether polyol.
WATER-DISPERSED PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET FOR RE-PEELING
Provided are a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition excellent in water resistance, and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for re-peeling using the water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. The water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes: a water-dispersed acrylic polymer; an active energy ray-curable resin; and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the active energy ray-curable resin is an emulsion containing a tetrafunctional or higher radically polymerizable monomer and a urethane acrylate.
MARKER TRANSFER TAPE AND METHOD OF APPLYING MARKERS
A marker transfer tape includes a transfer material layer that extends along a length and width of the marker transfer tape and an adhesive layer along a bottom side of the transfer material layer. The marker transfer tape includes a marker separation cut that defines a first removable portion, a second removable portion, and a plurality of markers between the first and second removable portions such that the markers are centrally located along the width of the marker transfer tape and spaced apart along the length of the marker transfer tape. The markers are applied to the surface by: adhering the marker transfer tape to the surface; peeling off the first removable portion; and peeling off the second removable portion.
WATER-DISPERSED PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION AND PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE SHEET FOR RE-PEELING
Provided are: a water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition that has an excellent pressure-sensitive adhesive strength, and that can achieve both of adhesiveness to an adherend and peelability; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for re-peeling using the water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition. The water-dispersed pressure-sensitive adhesive composition includes: a water-dispersed acrylic polymer; an active energy ray-curable resin; and a photopolymerization initiator, wherein the water-dispersed acrylic polymer is a polymer having two or more glass transition temperatures.
Photosensitive Medical Tape
A photosensitive medical tape includes a backing layer that is at least partially transparent to a first spectrum of electromagnetic radiation. The photosensitive medical tape also includes a coupling layer disposed on a first side of the backing layer to provide adhesion of the photosensitive medical tape to the human skin.
