20200029908 · 2020-01-30 ·

A wearable device comprising a memory storing data associated with a personal biology of a user, a short-range wireless transceiver for receiving, from a peer wearable device, data associated with a personal biology of a peer user, and a processor for comparing the received data with the data stored in the memory in order to determine whether or not there is a match. The device further comprises an indicator for generating a visual, audio or other sensory indication of a match when the data is determined to match.

Functional, socially-enabled jewelry and systems for multi-device interaction

Functional jewelry is disclosed. A bracelet includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), a main control unit, and positional and situational sensors, typically including an accelerometer, as well as a decorative, interchangeable fascial layer. The bracelet may also include sensors such as capacitive touch sensors, a microphone, and a color sensor. A radio transceiver within the bracelet is adapted to implement a protocol such as BLUETOOTH 4.0, and is adapted to allow the bracelet to communicate in peer-to-peer or master-slave mode. Two users can pair their bracelets in person, usually with a gestural trigger, for shared light displays, multi-player games, and other types of interactions. Larger groups can pair temporarily and contextually for multi-user displays and interactions, in an ad hoc network with distributed functions. Real-world interactions are communicated to a social network with profiles linked to the individual bracelets.

The present invention is disclosing a smart wearable accessory that comprises a belt portion and a buckle portion. Belt portion has a first end and a second end, and comprises a first set of output devices positioned at one or more points. Buckle portion has a housing upon which a mobile device is mounted. Housing comprises one or more sensors that generate a signal when non-contact time duration of said mobile device unmounted from said housing exceeds a first threshold value, and proximity distance between said one or more sensors and said unmounted mobile device exceeds a second threshold value. Housing further comprises a charging terminal that is electrically connectable with said mobile device, and a second set of output devices. Housing further comprises a microprocessor that activates said first and/or said second set of output devices based on said signal received from said one or more sensors.

Accessories with sliding keepsakes

Accessories, such as articles of jewelry, are provided having one or more keepsakes that may slide to on or off the accessory substrate. The keepsakes may have a decorative front side and a rear side that may cause the keepsake to encircle the substrate. The rear side may have a greater length than the front side, which may permit natural spacing between the front sides of adjacent keepsakes.

Transaction instrument

A transaction instrument comprising a blended composite of metal and plastic and a method(s) for making a transaction instrument comprising a blended composite of metal and plastic. In an aspect of the invention, the blended composite of metal and plastic is a metal-filled plastic, more particularly a heavy-gravity compound.

SUPPORT ASSEMBLY

Bracelet having adjustable length, which includes an adjusting link (6) with two parallel transverse articulation pins (5, 7), a first (5) being fixed and the second (7) being able to pivot with respect to the first (5) so as to reverse the respective positions of the pins and respectively create two, short and long, configurations, and an end link (8) having a first end (8i) pivoted on the second pin (7) and a second end (8j) designed to accept the fixing of the end of one bracelet strand, this second end (8j) having at least one first cutout (8e) designed to house a center link element (10a) of a link at the end of said bracelet strand, and a transverse second cutout (8c) arranged between the two ends (8i, 8j) of the end link (8) to house the first pin (5) of the adjusting link (6) in the short configuration.

Device for tracking menstrual cycle

A wearable device allows women to track their menstrual cycle by rotating or sliding a marker that will tell her every day where she is in her menstrual cycle. This device can be shaped in multiple ways. In general, the device has two or more interlocking pieces that allow the user to manually move, e.g., rotate or slide, a marker shaped on one of the pieces with respect to the other piece to highlight indicia, such as a number or icon or color, that represents a day in the menstrual cycle. The indicia can be hidden within the design to protect the user's privacy. In one implementation, the device is attached to a chain, rope or other form allowing it to be worn around the neck, typically under the clothes, like a pendant. Another implementation is shaped like a bracelet, allowing it to be work around the wrist. Other configurations to be worn on other parts of the body also are possible.
