ADHESIVE LABEL WITH WATER-BASED RELEASE COATING
An adhesive label with a water-based release coating and methods for applying the water-based release coating to the adhesive label are provided. The water-based release coating is a non-silicon based formulation having a fluorochemical. The water-based release coating can be applied in a single-pass process or a double-pass process when manufacturing the adhesive label.
TAPE, WIRE HARNESS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING WIRE HARNESS
A tape includes a tape base material obtained by kneading, into a PVC resin added with a plasticizer, a stabilizer and a coloring agent, a filler in a particle state such as calcium for improving tearability. A color of the tape base material is set to a receding color other than black by an action of the coloring agent. The tape end portion of the PVC tape is whitened by tearing.
Cure of anaerobic compositions
A bonding system for bonding a plastic substrate to another substrate, the bonding system comprising a plastic substrate wherein the plastic substrate is impregnated with a transition metal; and an anaerobically curable composition. Cure of the anaerobically curable composition is initiatable by the transition metal when the anaerobically curable composition is contacted with the plastic substrate under anaerobic conditions.
ADHESIVE TAPE ROLL WITH COLOR-CHANGING DYE
Provided herein is a tape roll configured to include an adhesive associated with a color-changing dye to provide the user with a visible marker for the end of the tape roll. In certain aspects, the adhesive is associated with a redox indicator. In certain aspects, the redox indicator is activated upon exposure to air.
Methods of treating metal surfaces and devices formed thereby
The present invention relates to methods of treating metal surfaces to enhance adhesion or binding to substrates, and devices formed thereby. In some embodiments of the present invention, methods of achieving improved bonding strength without roughening the topography of a metal surface are provided. The metal surface obtained by this method provides strong bonding to resin layers. The bonding interface between the treated metal and the resin layer exhibits resistance to heat, moisture, and chemicals involved in post-lamination process steps, and therefore can suitably be used in the production of PCB's. Methods according to some embodiments of the present invention are especially useful in the fabrication of high density multilayer PCB's, in particular for PCB's having circuits with line/spacing of equal to and less than 10 microns. Methods according to other embodiments of the present invention are particularly useful in the coating of metal surfaces in a wide variety of applications.
THERMAL BONDING SHEET AND THERMAL BONDING SHEET WITH DICING TAPE
A thermal bonding sheet has a precursor layer that is to become a sintered layer by heating. A weight reduction rate W.sub.0(%) when the thermal bonding sheet is analyzed in a nitrogen atmosphere at a temperature increase rate of 10 C./min from 23 C. to 400 C. with a differential thermal balance before the thermal bonding sheet is exposed to an atmosphere having a temperature of 232 C. and a humidity of 5020%, and a weight reduction rate W.sub.24(%) when the thermal bonding sheet is analyzed in a nitrogen atmosphere at a temperature increase rate of 10 C./min from 23 C. to 400 C. with a differential thermal balance after the thermal bonding sheet is exposed to an atmosphere having a temperature of 232 C. and a humidity of 5020% for 24 hours, satisfy 1%W.sub.0W.sub.240.5%.
Cellulose cyanoacrylate and method of employment
Cellulose cyanoacrylate is employed to bond two surfaces, fill voids or duplicate the shape of a three-dimensional object, Two surfaces may be bonded by placing a sheet of cellulose material between the surfaces and applying cyanoacrylate glue around the edge of the sheet until saturated and allowing it to cure. Paper toweling may favorably be employed as the cellulose material. A break or fracture in an article can be overlaid with a sheet of cellulose that when saturated with cyanoacrylate glue and temporarily held in place and shaped with a releasable film, the fracture can be corrected. A dry powder comprising highly abrasion-resistant particles can be mixed with the cellulose material to enhance abrasion resistance and to improve long-term color stabilityespecially important for dental cavity treatment. To duplicate the shape of a three-dimensional object, a sheet of releasable film is placed over the object, followed by a sheet of cellulose that is then saturated with cyanoacrylate glue. A sheet of releasable film is then placed over the cellulose and used to hold the cellulose in place and shape it as it hardens.
METHODS FOR RETREADING TIRES EMPLOYING CUSHION GUM WITH STABLE DINITRILE OXIDE CURE SYSTEM
A process for retreading a tire, the process comprising the steps of providing a tire casing, providing a cured rubber component having first and second planar surfaces, providing a cushion gum, wherein the cushion gum contains a cure system comprising at least one stable aryl dinitrile oxide compound, applying the cushion gum to the tire casing, and forming a tire composite by applying the second planar surface of the cured rubber component to the cushion gum.
Adhesive tape
An object of the present invention is to provide an adhesive tape having flexibility even at a low temperature, having excellent adhesive force at low temperature and after a certain period, and having excellent holding force after a certain period, and suppressing adhesive residue at peeling off even after being left for a certain period. According to the present invention, provided is an adhesive tape comprising a substrate and an adhesive layer, wherein the adhesive layer is formed directly on the substrate or with another layer therebetween, the substrate contains a polyvinyl chloride resin, a plasticizer, and a zinc compound, a content of the plasticizer in the substrate is 30 to 50 mass % with respect to the total mass of the substrate, a content of a zinc atom in the substrate is 0.01 to 0.15 mass % with respect to the total mass of the substrate, and the adhesive layer contains an adhesive component and a vulcanizing agent.
