CONNECTING OF SEALING STRIPS
A method for connecting sealing strips, includes at least one latent alkyl borane and is substantially free of decomplexing agent for the latent alkyl borane, to a sealing-strip substrate (1), applying a radical-curing adhesive to the sealing-strip substrate (1) pre-treated with the latent alkyl borane, bringing the sealingstrip substrate (1) in contact with a sealing-strip substrate (2) in such a way that the radical-curing adhesive is arranged between the two substrates, and allowing the radical-curing adhesive to cure, a composite structure thus being fonned. The method for adhesively bonding sealing strips based on elastic and thennoplastic substrates, such as EPDM or SBR, but also for adhesively bonding PVC sealing strips. Sealing strips adhesively bonded accordingly are characterized by favorable resistance of the adhesive to alkaline media, wherein conventional adhesives can be used which have optimized properties with regard to the storage stability, the open time, and the curing time thereof.
AN ACOUSTIC DAMPING ELEMENT WITH IMPROVED STACKABILITY
A vibration and noise damping element including a damping layer having first and second surfaces and an adhesive layer covering at least part of the first surface. The damping layer is composed of a damping layer material with a viscosity at 60? C. of 30000-500000 Pa*s containing at least one rubber component and the adhesive layer is composed of an adhesive layer material with a viscosity at 60? C. of 50000-300000 Pa*s containing at least one rubber component. The ratio of the thickness of the damping layer d1 to the adhesive layer d2 (d1/d2) is 0.6-4.0 and the sum (d1+d2) is 0.5-2.5 mm. The element shows good performance in the ball drop test at low temperatures, has good adhesion to the substrate it is applied to, provides good vibration and noise damping properties and guarantees easy separation after storage at temperatures between 30-50? C.
Double coated tape
Provided are double-coated tapes that include, in the following order: a first pressure-sensitive adhesive layer; a first plastic skin layer; an elastic base layer; a second plastic skin layer; and a second pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The provided double-coated adhesive tapes can provide a combination of high bond strength, reworkability, and high impact and shock resistance, and can be easily converted using a die cutting process.

A bonding system for bonding a plastic substrate to another substrate, the bonding system comprising a plastic substrate wherein the plastic substrate is impregnated with a transition metal; and an anaerobically curable composition. SHEET TO BE PASTED ON ROAD SURFACE, FLOOR, OR WALL SURFACE AND SET FOR FORMING SHEET TO BE PASTED ON ROAD SURFACE, FLOOR, OR WALL SURFACE
An object of the invention is to provide a sheet for application to a road surface, a floor, or a wall surface of which following properties to a pasted road surface, a pasted floor, or a pasted wall surface are excellent, and of which strength is excellent and a set for forming a sheet for application to a road surface, a floor, or a wall surface, which can easily form the sheet.
The sheet for application to a road surface, a floor, or a wall surface according to the invention has a pressure sensitive adhesive layer; a base material layer that is in contact with the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and of which a tensile elastic modulus is 150 MPa or less; and a protective layer of which a tensile elastic modulus is 1,000 MPa or greater, in this order. A set for forming a sheet for application to a road surface, a floor, or a wall surface according to the invention includes: an image forming sheet including a peeling layer, a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a base material layer that is in contact with the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and of which a tensile elastic modulus is 150 MPa or less, and an image forming layer, in this order; and a protective sheet including a peeling layer, an adhesive layer, and a protective layer of which a tensile elastic modulus is 1,000 MPa or greater, in this order.
RESIN-RUBBER COMPOSITE
A resin-rubber composite in which a polyamide-based resin-molded product or a polyphenylene sulfide-based resin-molded product is directly vulcanization-bonded to a peroxide-crosslinkable nonpolar rubber composition, which forms a rubber layer, without interposing an adhesive, wherein both resin-molded products have a polymerized film with a radical, which is formed by activating the surface of the product, in the case of polyamide-based resin-molded products, by low-pressure plasma treatment by a microwave method using inert gas, or by activating the surface of the product, in the case of polyphenylene sulfide-based resin-molded products, by low-pressure plasma treatment by a microwave method using active gas, and then performing low-pressure plasma treatment by a microwave method using a hydrocarbon-based monomer in both cases. The resin-rubber composite can be effectively used for drum seals, automobile parts such as side cover seals for transmissions, anti-vibration rubber, resin rubber laminate hoses, and the like.
Dicing film
According to the invention, a dicing film, which generates a small amount of scrapes and beard-like burrs during dicing and furthermore has desirable strength and external appearance, is provided. The dicing film according to the invention has an adhesive layer on at least one surface of a base film, wherein the base film contains a copolymer (A) of at least two kinds of alkyl(meth)acrylates and styrene; and a styrene-based elastomer (B). The copolymer (A) of at least two kinds of alkyl(meth)acrylates and styrene is a styrene-alkyl methacrylate-alkyl acrylate copolymer.
Dicing film
According to the invention, a dicing film, which generates a small amount of scrapes and beard-like burrs during dicing and furthermore has desirable strength and external appearance, is provided. The dicing film according to the invention has an adhesive layer on at least one surface of a base film, wherein the base film contains a copolymer (A) of at least two kinds of alkyl(meth)acrylates and styrene; and a styrene-based elastomer (B). The copolymer (A) of at least two kinds of alkyl(meth)acrylates and styrene is a styrene-alkyl methacrylate-alkyl acrylate copolymer.
