Apparatus and method for a temperature released adhesive structure for use with bandages

An adhesive article that remains securely bonded to a substrate until a stimuli is applied. The article may be embodied as an adhesive tape, a bandage, or as other articles. The stimuli may be a change in temperature or application of a reduction that causes a structure within the article to break, creak, or otherwise disrupt to expose the adhesive to a solvent, such as via a difference in Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) or by exposing the article to a glass transition temperature.

Transfer sheet and hard coat body using same

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a transfer sheet capable of providing hard coat properties and excellent weather resistance to a resin molded article such as organic glass. The transfer sheet has, in order, a base material film for mold release, a hard coat layer, a primer layer, and an adhesive layer. The weather resistance and adhesiveness of the hard coat layer and the primer layer are improved and hard coat properties and excellent weather resistance can be provided to a resin molded article being the transfer object, as a result of: the hard coat layer being formed from a cured product of a resin composition including a curable resin; and the primer layer being formed from a binder resin including a polyurethane having a mass-average molecular weight of 40,000-100,000 and including 1-30% by mass of an acrylic component.

The curable silsesquioxane additive may contain free radically polymerizable groups. Barrier film articles include the barrier adhesive compositions and a film. Adhesive Composition and Polarizing Plate Comprising Adhesive Layer Formed Using Same

An adhesive composition and a polarizing plate including an adhesive layer formed using the same are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, an adhesive composition includes 3-ethyl-3-(2-ethylhexyloxy)methyloxetane, 3-ethyl-3-hydroxymethyloxetane, 3,3-oxybis(methylene)bis(3-ethyloxetane), an acryl-based compound, an aromatic epoxy compound, and an alicyclic epoxy compound, wherein the 3-ethyl-3-(2-ethylhexyloxy)methyloxetane is present in an amount of 20 parts by weight to 40 parts by weight, the 3-ethyl-3-hydroxymethyloxetane is present in 2 parts by weight to 8 parts by weight, the 3,3-oxybis(methylene)bis(3-ethyloxetane) is present in 2 parts by weight to 8 parts by weight, the acryl-based compound is present in 5 parts by weight to 20 parts by weight, the aromatic epoxy compound is present in 7 parts by weight to 40 parts by weight, and the alicyclic epoxy compound is present in 10 parts by weight to 50 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the adhesive composition.

PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES CONTAINING ACTIVE ENZYMES

Pressure sensitive adhesive articles include a substrate, and a layer of pressure sensitive adhesive in contact with the substrate. The pressure sensitive adhesive layer includes a pressure sensitive adhesive matrix, and at least one active enzyme dispersed within the pressure sensitive adhesive matrix. The active enzyme remains active for extended periods of time.

Adhesive tape

The adhesive tape includes: a resin layer that is formed by applying resin coating, the resin coating containing a resin having an acid number of 50 mg/g or more and 130 mg/g or less, and at least one type of cross-linking agent selected from between an epoxy-based cross-linking agent and a metal chelate cross-linking agent; and an adhesive layer that is laminated on or above the resin layer, and is formed by applying adhesive coating, the adhesive coating containing a resin including a hydroxyl group, and a metal chelate compound.

The pressure-bonding adhesive member containing an adhesive layer and plural convex parts formed on one surface of the adhesive layer, wherein, when the convex parts are in contact with a polypropylene plate and the adhesive layer is not in contact with the polypropylene plate, the adhesive member shows a frictional force of not more than 0.6 N/cm.sup.2 on the polypropylene plate and a shear adhesive force of not less than 50 N/cm.sup.2 to the polypropylene plate.
