Adhesive film and process for producing the same
The present invention provides an adhesive film hardly suffering from fisheyes and deposition of dirt and dusts thereonto and having excellent mechanical strength and heat resistance as well as good adhesion properties, which can be suitably used as various surface protective films, etc. The present invention relates to an adhesive film comprising a polyester film and an adhesive layer formed on at least one surface of the polyester film, in which the adhesive layer comprises a resin having a glass transition point of not higher than 0 C., and an antistatic agent, and a thickness of the adhesive layer is not more than 10 m.
BLENDED BLOCK COPOLYMER/SILICONE PRESSURE SENSITIVE ADHESIVES
There is provided a pressure sensitive adhesive demonstrating adhesion to low energy surfaces which is a radiation-crosslinked mixture of a first component comprising a blend of a nonfunctionalized polysiloxane and a silicate-based tackifier; and a second component comprising a blend of a styrenic block copolymer and a tackifier compatible with the styrenic block copolymer. In some embodiments the weight ratio of nonfunctionalized polysiloxane to styrenic block copolymer.in the mixture is between 0.20 and 1.15. In some embodiments the tackifier compatible with the styrenic block copolymer is a blend of hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin tackifier and terpene-based tackifier in a weight ratio of greater than 0.75 hydrogenated hydrocarbon resin tackifier to terpene-based tackifier.
Pressure sensitive adhesive assembly suitable for bonding to uneven substrates
The present disclosure relates to a pressure sensitive adhesive assembly suitable for bonding to a substrate provided with an uneven surface, wherein the pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA) assembly comprises a polymeric foam layer comprising a polymeric base material, and having a complex viscosity comprised between 2,000 Pa.Math.s to 80,000 Pa.Math.s, when measured at 120 C. according to the test method described in the experimental section. The present disclosure is also directed to a method of applying a pressure sensitive adhesive assembly to a substrate provided with an uneven surface, and uses thereof.
Pressure sensitive adhesive sheet
A pressure sensitive adhesive sheet is provided which comprises a base material having insulation properties, an inorganic filler-containing resin layer provided at least at one side of the base material and containing an insulating inorganic filler, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer provided as an outermost layer of at least one surface. According to such a pressure sensitive adhesive sheet, insulation properties can be ensured even when the base material undergoes carbonization and/or combustion/decomposition due to high temperatures and insulation breakdown occurs in the base material.
Permanent security film with high transparency and without predetermined breaking points
The present invention relates to peelproof security films made from a poly(meth)acrylate, more particularly from a polymethyl methacrylate, which comprises at most 10 wt % of or no impact modifiers. These films are highly transparent, have good printability qualities, and can be applied without intended break points. The peelproof security films can therefore find use in particular in documents, such as passports, for example, in security labels, such as road tax badges, for example, or for product theft prevention, or as price tags. These security labels are further distinguished by good weathering stability and in particular by especially good UV stability. The present invention relates more particularly to the use of these security labels, which have a thickness of not more than 2 mm, comprise at least 80 wt % of polymethyl methacrylate and contain no impact modification particles.
Display Protecting Film Without Base Film
The present invention relates to a display protective film including no base film, and the display protective film includes a transparent coating layer and a surface-protective coating layer. The protective film of the present invention is attached to whole surfaces of a flat portion and a curved portion. Accordingly, there is no peeling phenomenon on the curved portion. The protective film is also excellent in preventing the breakage of glass due to impact and preventing contamination. Moreover, scratches that may occur in outdoor activities are restored, and indentation marks made by a stylus pen when writing with the stylus pen are immediately restored, so that a clean screen is always maintained.

Pressure-sensitive adhesive composition
Provided are a seal tape and a secondary battery. The seal tape for adhering an electrode assembly includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer including a cured product of a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition including a polymer including a polar functional group-containing monomer as a polymerization unit, and is expanded in contact with an electrolyte solution to be detached from the electrode assembly, and therefore, isotropic volume expansion and contraction of the electrode assembly may be induced by repeated charging and discharging of a secondary battery and a disconnection phenomenon in which an electrode is disconnected may be prevented.
Digital printed duct tape
An adhesive tape is provided comprising a duct tape having an adhesive surface and a non-adhesive surface, a white ink printed on the non-adhesive surface of the duct tape, and a colored ink printed on top of the printed white ink. The white ink and the colored ink are digitally printed and UV curable. A self-wound roll of adhesive duct tape having digitally printed ink on the non-adhesive surface of the duct tape is also provided.
