Pleated, Waterproof Sealing Tape and Method of Use
The present invention relates to a pleated sealing tape for providing a waterproof covering. The pleated sealing tape includes a flexible sheet made of a polymeric material and having a plurality of pleats extending from a first end of the sheet to an opposing end of the sheet. The pleated sealing tape also has a front surface and a rear surface, and the rear surface of the sheet includes a pressure-sensitive adhesive. When the sheet is applied to a surface, the sheet is configured to be removed by stretching the sheet in a direction transverse to the orientation of the plurality of pleats and subsequently peeling the sheet off of the surface.
METHODS OF BONDING COMPONENTS TO POLYMERIC SUBSTRATES
Methods for bonding polymeric substrates to component parts, and medical devices assemblies including a tubing and a component part bonded together using a solvent containing a tackifier.
Multi-layer carrier film composed of plastic
A multi-layer plastic film as a carrier film for a glue layer, comprising a layer sequence of (a) an outer layer (a) based on a mixture of ) 3-15 wt % of an extrudable glue and ) 85-97 wt % of at least one C.sub.2-C.sub.8 olefin-alkyl acrylate copolymer, C.sub.2-C.sub.8 olefin-methacrylic acid copolymer and/or C.sub.2-C.sub.8 alkyl methacrylate copolymer, wherein the mixture of ) and ) must be compatible with each other, (b) a layer (b) of at least one polyolefin or one olefin copolymer, (c) a layer (c) of at least one polyolefin or one olefin copolymer, and optionally typical auxiliary substances, as a second outer layer, and composites of said carrier film and an adhesive layer.
VIBRATION-CONTROLLING SHEET HAVING NUMEROUS THROUGH-HOLES
A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a thermoplastic elastomer vibration-controlling sheet minimizing numbness of hands, feet, and a body even when a strong impact is applied as in the case where the sheet is bonded to and used on a grip of sporting goods such as a bat and a tennis racket serving as an object to be bonded. The present invention relates to a vibration-controlling sheet having an adhesive on one or both sides of a thermoplastic elastomer sheet that has numerous through-holes at a porosity of 5 to 80% and that has a loss factor tan of 0.3 or more at 0 C. and 30 Hz.
Strapping adhesive tape
The invention relates to an adhesive tape carrier made of a film, onto at least one side of which film an adhesive material is applied, wherein the film is a monoaxially stretched film made of polypropylene which contains at least 80 percent by weight polypropylene which has been processed in advance at least once, preferably has been extruded at least once, wherein the film has a stretching ratio during stretching in the longitudinal direction of 1:4 to 1:10.
METHODS AND FORMULATIONS FOR BONDING DISSIMILAR MATERIALS
The present disclosure is directed to a formulations of cements and methods for bonding dissimilar materials. The formulations and methods can bond a Non-polyvinyl chloride (PVC) containing first polyolefin that is amorphous or has low crystallinity to a second material that is a rigid material or a hard PVC. The methods and formulations can work by co-dissolution at an interface, or activation of a one of the materials prior to bonding.
ROOFING MEMBRANES AND RELATED METHODS
Some embodiments relate to a roofing membrane. The roofing membrane comprises a scrim. The scrim has a top surface and a bottom surface. The roofing membrane comprises a cap layer on the top surface of the scrim. The cap layer comprises a first non-styrenic polypropylene polymer, a first polypropylene impact copolymer, and a first olefin block copolymer. The roofing membrane comprises a core layer on the bottom surface of the scrim. The core layer comprises a second non-styrenic polypropylene polymer, a second polypropylene impact copolymer, and a second olefin block copolymer. The roofing membrane is configured to prevent migration of at least one oil from a layer to the roofing membrane. Some embodiments relate to a roofing structure comprising the roofing membrane, a method for installing the roofing membrane, and the like.
Sulfonated Block Copolymer Laminates with Polar or Active Metal Substrates
Disclosed herein is a process for laminating a polar substrate with a film cast from a sulfonated block copolymer having at least one end block A and at least one interior block B wherein each A block contains essentially no sulfonic acid or sulfonate ester functional groups and each B block is a polymer block containing from about 10 to about 100 mol percent sulfonic acid or sulfonate ester functional groups based on the number of monomer units. The film is exposed to water and dried onto a polar or active metal substrate. The laminates do not delaminate in the presence of water, or in a humidity of up to 85%, and at a temperature of at least 60 C. The laminates are used for a variety of applications including energy exchange applications.
RESIN COMPOSITION, AND SHAPED PRODUCT AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Provided is a resin composition with which pellet blocking resistance can be sufficiently improved and a shaped product having excellent transparency with little clouding can be obtained, and a shaped product having excellent transparency with little clouding and a production method therefor. A resin composition comprises: pellets containing a hydrogenated block copolymer [D] obtained by hydrogenating a block copolymer [C] having a polymer block [A] containing a structural unit derived from an aromatic vinyl compound and a polymer block [B] containing a structural unit derived from a chain conjugated diene compound; and an antiblocking agent, wherein a ratio (wA:wB) between wA and wB is 10:90 to 70:30, and a content of the antiblocking agent per 100 parts by mass of the pellets is 0.001 parts by mass or more and 0.4 parts by mass or less.
