RUBBER-BASED MULTILAYER PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE ASSEMBLY HAVING LOW VOC CHARACTERISTICS
A multilayer pressure sensitive adhesive assembly comprising a polymeric foam layer and a first pressure sensitive adhesive layer adjacent to the polymeric foam layer. The polymeric foam comprises a multi-arm block copolymer having the formula Q.sub.n-Y, with Q representing an arm of the multi-arm block copolymer, n being at least 3, and Y being the residue of a multifunctional coupling agent; a polymeric plasticizer having a weight average molecular weight Mw of at least 10,000 g/mol; and at least one hydrocarbon tackifier having a VOC value of less than 1000 ppm. The first pressure sensitive adhesive comprises a linear block copolymer having the formula M-(G).sub.p, with M being a rubbery block and p being 1 or 2; at least one second hydrocarbon tackifier; and a (meth)acrylate copolymer having a Tg higher than 25 C. and a weight average molecular weight (Mw) between 1000 and 100,000 Daltons.

THIN FOAM TAPES
A thin foam layer is provided comprising: a) a polymeric matrix; and dispersed therein b) expanded polymeric microspheres comprising a polymeric shell and a hollow interior; wherein the thin foam layer has a thickness of less than 325 microns, in some embodiments less than 200 microns, or in some embodiments less than 110 microns, and the expanded polymeric microspheres have an average diameter of less than 100 microns, or in some embodiments less than 50 microns. In some embodiments the thin foam layer comprises greater than 0.7 wt % expanded polymeric microspheres, and in some greater than 1.0 wt %. The present disclosure additionally provides tapes comprising the thin foam layer of the present disclosure.

A polyolefin bonding adhesive film includes a support base layer and a bonding adhesive layer formed on a side surface of the support base layer by co-extrusion. The support base layer is a polypropylene film. The bonding adhesive layer is formed of a first polyolefin copolymer modified by maleic anhydride. The first polyolefin copolymer is formed by copolymerization of at least two kinds of C2 to C4 olefin molecules, a first graft ratio of the maleic anhydride grafted onto the first polyolefin copolymer is between 0.5% and 5%, and a first melt index of the first polyolefin copolymer is between 3 g/10 min and 5 g/10 min.
