AIR AND WATER BARRIER ARTICLE WITH POROUS LAYER AND LINER
There is provided an article that includes a polymeric layer disposed on and covering a first major surface of an porous layer, an adhesive layer disposed on a second major surface of the elastic layer opposite the polymeric layer; and a liner disposed on a major surface of the polymeric layer opposite the first major surface of the elastic layer. The polymeric layer and the porous layer together form an air and water barrier that is water vapor permeable. The liner is water vapor impermeable. In a preferred embodiment the polymeric layer comprises a polyoxyalkylene polymer having at least one end group derived from an alkoxy silane. A method of applying the article to a surface of a building component is also provided.
SELF-SEALING ARTICLES INCLUDING ELASTIC POROUS LAYER
There is provided a self-sealing article comprising a polymeric layer disposed on and covering a first major surface of an elastic porous layer, wherein the article passes Modified Test 1 of ASTM D-1970/D-1970M-13 or Modified Test 2 of ASTM D-1970/D-1970M-13, or Modified Test 3 of ASTM D-1970/D-1970M-13, and further wherein the self-sealing article is water vapor permeable and an air and water barrier. There is also provided a linered version of the self-sealing article in which a liner is disposed on a major surface of the polymeric layer opposite the first major surface of the elastic porous layer.
Polymer films
There is provided a polymer film which includes a base film layer having an absolute weight average molecular weight of 50,000 to 1,000,000 and an adhesive layer, and a method for manufacturing the polymer film. This film for a tire inner liner can endow an excellent gas barrier property even to tires having a relatively thin thickness so that weight of the tire can be reduced and fuel efficiency of automobiles can be improved. Further, the present film facilitates molding in a tire manufacturing process, and exhibits excellent adhesion force to a carcass layer while having excellent mechanical properties such as high durability and fatigue resistance together with excellent moldability.
Adhesive sheet
[Problem] This is to provide an adhesive sheet having curved surface followability and chemical resistance. [Means for solving] The adhesive sheet is an adhesive sheet having at least a substrate and an adhesive layer, a load at the time of 5% elongation of the substrate is 15 N/cm or less, a stress relaxation rate of the substrate by elongating to 10%, stopping the elongation at that state and after lapsing 600 seconds is 40% or more and 100% or less, and a chemical weight increased ratio of the substrate is 60% or less.
HOT-MELT ADHESIVE COMPOSITION, PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF AND VEHICLE HEADLAMP
A hot-melt adhesive composition comprises 35 wt % to 40 wt % of petroleum resin, 10 wt % to 14 wt % of polyester elastomer resin, 10 wt % to 14 wt % of ethylene vinyl acetate resin, 14 wt % to 19 wt % of polyether polyol, 15 wt % to 21 wt % of polyester polyol, 8 wt % to 10 wt % of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate, and 0.1 wt % to 0.5 wt % of an amine catalyst, wherein the hot-melt adhesive composition has a melt viscosity of 20,000 cps to 50,000 cps as measured at 150 C.
ABG STRETCH TAPE
An adhesive elastomeric tape comprising 90 grade cheesecloth that is knitted with a medium gauge elastic yarn through a stitch bonding machine. The cloth is then coated with a petroleum base adhesive using a unique strike through method that allows a adhesive to pass through while coating both sides. A style of athletic tape that is flexible, durable, and adhesive simultaneously.

FLAME RETARDANT PRESSURE-SENSITIVE TAPE
Pressure-sensitive adhesive formulations based on acrylic or rubber adhesives are provided in combination with an aluminum phosphorous salt intumescent flame retardant and a nitrogen containing flame retardant which can act as a blowing agent through thermal decomposition. These flame retardant additives can be incorporated into the adhesive in levels of 10 to 30 percent by weight. These formulations are then placed on a polymeric flame retardant substrate in either a single-sided or double-sided form.
