SYSTEMS FOR SECURING PROTECTIVE FILMS TO SURFACES OF SUBSTRATES
Systems and films for protecting surfaces of various substrates, including electronic devices, such as portable electronic devices, include a liner with a strip liner and a main liner. The strip liner, which covers a small strip of adhesive on the back side of a protective film, is configured to be removed before the main liner. With the small strip of adhesive exposed, the protective film may be aligned with a substrate and, if necessary, removed from the substrates and repositioned thereon. Thereafter, the main liner may be removed to enable complete application of the protective film to the substrate. Methods for securing protective films to substrates are also disclosed.
Method for producing a single-sided adhesive film for securing a load and single-sided adhesive film for securing a load
The present invention relates to a method for producing a single-sided adhesive film (1) for securing a load, comprising providing a backing layer (2) and coating a first side of the backing layer (2) with an adhesive layer (3), wherein a plastic (4) is applied to a second side of the backing layer (2) in order to form a non-slip surface on the adhesive film (1). Moreover, the present invention relates to a single-sided adhesive film (1) produced by the above method.
HIGH FREQUENCY EASY MELTING MULTIPLE LAYERED STRUCTURE
The present invention is related to a high frequency easy melting multiple layered structure, which includes a high frequency easy melting coating layer; a high frequency easy melting adhesive layer installed below the high frequency easy melting coating layer and a high frequency easy melting thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) substrate placed below the high frequency easy melting adhesive layer. They serve to reduce the energy and time period in the high frequency melting and connection so as to promote producing speed and capacity effectively.
Flexible pressure-sensitive adhesive tape for structural adhesion
The present invention relates to a flexible, pressure-sensitively adhesive sheetlike structure for improved structural bonding, more particularly for clearance compensation, of diverse materials, such as metal, wood, glass and/or plastic, for example.
Articles and Components with UV Radiation Curable Elastomeric Materials and Methods of Making the Same
A method of manufacturing an article that includes providing an element formed of an elastomeric material or composite; placing the surface of the element in contact with a substrate; and affixing the element to the substrate. The element includes an uncured, partially cured, or fully cured UV radiation curable elastomeric material and optionally one or more regions of an adhesive material. The element is affixed to the substrate while the surface of the element is in contact with a surface of the substrate by increasing a temperature of at least a portion of the element, applying pressure to at least a portion of the element, or exposing the uncured or partially cured UV radiation curable material to UV radiation in an amount and for a duration of time that is sufficient to partially cure the uncured material or to fully cure the partially cured material.
ADHESIVE CABLE-WRAPPING TAPE
The invention relates an adhesive tape, particularly wrapping tape for wrapping cables in automobiles, comprising a textile carrier, and an adhesive coating on at least one face of the carrier, characterized in that the textile carrier is produced, at least to some extent, from bio-based polymers.
COLOR WRAPPING FILM FOR VEHICLE
The present disclosure relates to a color wrapping film for a vehicle, which has an excellent impact resistance and excellent scratch restorability due to a base layer and a coating layer formed of a polyurethane-based material, and suppresses discoloration caused by an external environment by adding a color pigment to a separate layer.
POLYURETHANE SYNTHESIS
A method is disclosed for producing a polyurethane film including the steps of depositing a prepolymer composition, drying the prepolymer composition, and crosslinking the propolymer composition.
APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR FORMING A COMPOUND FILM, AND APPARATUS HAVING A COMPOUND FILM
This disclosure describes devices, systems, and methods related to a compound film. An exemplary compound film includes a first layer including a first polymer composition including polyurethane and a second layer including a second polymer composition removably coupled to the first layer. The compound film further includes light switchable adhesive coupled to the second layer and configured to transition from a first state to a second state, the light switchable adhesive has a first peel strength in the first state that is greater than a second peel strength of the light switchable adhesive in the second state. A third peel strength between the first layer and the second layer is less than the second peel strength between the light switchable adhesive in the first state and a bond site.
Thin-Film Catechol Containing Materials
The disclosure relates to thin layers comprising a catechol containing polymer or oligomer, as well as methods of making and using the thin layers comprising the catechol containing polymer or oligomer. The layers demonstrate improved adhesion between two materials without substantial modification of the adhesive matrix.
