A method for producing molten salt includes a step of providing a system for the production of molten salt. The system can have a preparation tank configured to melt raw salts, and a bubbler system in communication with the preparation tank. The bubbler can be configured to maintain vacuum conditions within the preparation tank and to remove gases from the preparation tank. Then, the method can include inserting raw salt into the preparation tank, and heating the raw salt to form molten salt. Then filtering the molten salt, and storing the molten salt.

A heat exchanger system includes a heat exchanger device, which has elastocaloric elements made of elastocaloric material and is designed to move the elastocaloric elements, as a result of which said elements are deformed, so that an elastocaloric effect is achieved. The heat exchanger system further includes a vibrating unit, which generates mechanical vibrations, and a vibration transfer device arranged between the vibrating unit and the heat exchanger device, and which transfers the vibrations from the vibrating unit into the elastocaloric elements so that the elastocaloric elements move.

Provided is a quartz sand/graphite composite molten salt heat transfer and heat storage medium and a preparation method thereof. The medium is characterized in that it is prepared by adding quartz sand into an existing common heat transfer and heat storage molten salt system for compounding. Hot stability of the obtained heat transfer and heat storage medium is generally improved, an application temperature range is expanded, causticity is reduced, and a service life of a device is greatly prolonged. In addition, a material cost is low.

MOLTEN METAL HEAT-EXCHANGER
The molten metal heat-exchanger for heating water comprises a recipient containing a metal with a low melting point in its interior, with a tube immersed in the metal and in the interior of the recipient through which the water to be heated circulates. To heat the water a heat source is applied to the recipient heating the metal therein until it changes to a liquid state. If the temperature of the metal in the liquid state is lower than the boiling temperature of water, the exchanger produces hot water, whereas if the temperature of the liquid metal is higher than the boiling temperature of water, the exchanger can produce hot water or steam. The metal to be used in the molten metal heat-exchanger is a metal or metal alloy with a melting temperature of close to 100 C., with gallium, which has a melting temperature of 30 C. and a boiling temperature of 2204 C., being ideal for the application, although currently existing and future metal alloys may be used in the molten metal heat-exchanger.
