The actuating assembly is designed to mate with the movement of umbrella shaft, the end of actuating assembly is connected to the top center area of the rib assembly; the cantilever is arranged at the top end of umbrella shaft, the end of cantilever is connected to the bottom center area of the rib; the hydraulic rod is arranged at the upper part of the umbrella shaft, the end of hydraulic rod is connected to the cantilever. The actuating assembly, the hydraulic rod, and the cantilever cooperate to drive the closure of the umbrella canopy. The outdoor umbrella is simple to operate and saves time and labor.
