Use of O/W emulsions for chain lubrication

The invention relates to the use of an O/W emulsion, in particular a PIT emulsion, for lubricating conveyor belt systems in food industries as well as a lubricant concentrate based on an O/W emulsion, in particular a PIT emulsion, of wax esters.

Lubricating grease composition

A lubricating grease composition, and more specifically, to a lubricating grease composition which, when used with an article clamping device, such as a chuck, produces excellent lubricating properties whilst remaining strongly adhered to metal parts in the clamping mechanism of the device and showing enhanced chemical and physical resistance to fluids such as cutting fluids with which they come into contact.

Provided are a sliding member for sealing and a seal device that exhibit good sealing performance even when used in an environment where silicon oxide is likely to be deposited.

A sliding member for sealing includes a sintered body consisting of 1.0 to 12.5 wt % of cerium oxide, a combination of 20 to 50 wt % of graphite and graphitizable carbon, and a remainder of non-graphitizable carbon. The sliding member for sealing is used as, for example, a rotary seal ring or a stationary seal ring.

Pipe sealing compound/adjunct lubricant
11732211 · 2023-08-22 ·

The present invention describes a pipe sealing compound/adjunct lubricant used to prevent gas or liquid leaks when applied to pipe threads and other connections of the same. The compound relies on silicone oil lubricant(s) and one or more friction modifier(s), viscosity builder(s) and filler material(s). The compound contains a viscoelastic liquid that does not have a curing phase and is resistant to hardening and/or drying. The compound is chemically resistant to a wide variety of liquids and gases, is food safe and can withstand extreme high or low temperatures and precipitous temperature fluctuations. The compound has been found to exhibit an inverse pressure to leak rate phenomena.
