UNIVERSAL ADDITIVE
A universal additive for fuel and lubricants contains C2-C4 alcohols, carbamide, boric acid, acrylic compounds, and water. The additive allows for more complete combustion of liquid and solid fuels, as well as reduced fuel consumption and fewer harmful emissions. In lubricating oil compositions, the additive reduces wear on the friction surfaces of engines, and also reduces fuel consumption.
APPLICATION OF NANO COPPER IN CUTTING FLUID
The present invention provides an application of nano copper in a cutting fluid. The nano copper is self-dispersible nano copper with an organic long-carbon chain, wherein the surface of copper metal is coated with a long carbon chain organic matter, and the long chain organic matter is dialkyl dithiophosphoric acid (HDDP) and a derivative thereof. In the present invention, the nano copper substitutes functional additives which comprises one or more of a preservative, an anti-rust agent, a sterilizing agent, a compression-resisting agent and a lubricant to solve the technical problems of the existing fluid in the prior art being unable to simultaneously have efficient anti-corrosion, anti-rust, compression-resistant, lubricating and sterilizing properties as well as the variety, the relatively high amount, the high cost and the limited selection of added additives.
CUTTING FLUIDS
The present disclosure is drawn to a cutting fluid for use in computer numerical control milling. The cutting fluid can include from about 10 wt % to about 90 wt % of a C2 to C6 alcohol; from about 0.1 wt % to about 20 wt % of a chelating agent; from about 0.5 wt % to about 15 wt % of a metal ion selected from aluminum ion, chromium ion, nickel ion, tin ion, zinc ion, or a combination thereof; and from about 8.5 wt % to about 88.5 wt % water. The cutting fluid can have a surface tension that can range from about 22 dynes/cm to about 55 dynes/cm.
Lubricating Composition
A method of reducing low-speed pre-ignition (LSPI) in a direct-injected spark-ignited internal combustion engine comprising lubricating the crankcase of the engine with a composition comprising a combination of a molybdenum-containing additive and a boron-containing additive. Preferably, the composition comprises a calcium detergent providing a calcium content of at least 0.08 wt. %, based on the weight of the lubricating oil composition.
BEARING ASSEMBLY WITH SURFACE LAYER
A bearing assembly is disclosed that includes a first component with a first bearing surface, and a second component with a second bearing surface. A fluid is disposed between the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface supporting the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface in a non-contact rotational relationship. The first bearing surface, or the second bearing surface, or both the first bearing surface and the second bearing surface include a surface layer with solid lubricant 2D nanoparticles in a matrix.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR PREVENTING PRE-IGNITION
The present invention relates to the use of a lubricant composition comprising (i) at least one boron derivative; and (ii) at least one base oil, for preventing and/or reducing pre-ignition, in particular at low speed, in a vehicle engine, wherein said composition is used during at least one change interval without the addition of a new lubricant composition, the content of boron in the composition being between 150 ppm and 350 ppm by weight.
WIRELINE LUBRICANT FOR USE IN GREASELESS DOWNHOLE LOGGING
A rubber friendly lubricant composition adapted for lubricating the cable in a greaseless down hole logging process including a general formulation: polypropylene glycol, poly alkylene glycol; amine borate; 1,3,4-Thiadiazolidine-2,5-dithione, disodium salt; and, deionized water. The lubricant being compatible with seals and rubbers, and other related materials, used on trucks and other oil field vehicles and equipment. Being water soluble, the lubricant also presents a low potential for fire risk, and is considered environmentally friendly. The lubricant also exhibiting superior freeze properties.
Polymeric-inorganic nanoparticle compositions, manufacturing process thereof and their use as lubricant additives
The invention relates to polymeric-inorganic nanoparticle compositions and preparation processes thereof. The invention also relates to an additive and lubricant composition comprising these polymeric-inorganic nanoparticle compositions, as well as to the use of these polymeric-inorganic nanoparticle compositions in an oil lubricant formulation to improve tribological performance, in particular to improve anti-friction performance on metal parts.
Lubricating grease of polyurea/high base number calcium sulfonate composite
The invention discloses a lubricating grease with thixotropy and a preparation method thereof. The lubricating grease comprises a polyurea/high base number calcium sulfonate composite thickener, colloidally dispersed calcium carbonate solid particles in the form of calcite, a calcium borate or calcium borate composite, and a calcium soap of fatty acid having 12 to 24 carbon atoms. The above components are uniformly dispersed in an oil phase medium. The content of high base number calcium sulfonate in the lubricating grease is less than 22 wt %, and the lubricating grease has a worked cone penetration of 295 or less.
COMPOUND COMPRISING AMINE, CARBOXYLATE AND BORON FUNCTIONALITIES AND ITS USE AS A LUBRICANT ADDITIVE
A product resulting from the reaction of at least: an alkali or alkaline earth metal hydroxybenzoate compound, optionally substituted by a hydrocarbyl group and optionally overbased, a boron compound, an amine component selected from: a quaternary ammonium salt, compounds including two or three amine functions, wherein at least one amine function is substituted by at least one hydrocarbyl group. A lubricant composition including this product. Use of this product as a lubricant for two-stroke marine engines and four-stroke marine engines, more preferably two-stroke marine engines.
