A refrigerating machine oil containing: a lubricating base oil; and a polymer additive, wherein a carbon residue of 10% residual oil is 0.05% by mass or more.
Oil-Containing Fiber-Polymer Self-Lubricating Composite Material and Preparation Method Thereof
Disclosed is an oil-containing fiber-polymer self-lubricating composite material. The composite material includes a resin matrix and an oil-containing fiber dispersed in the resin matrix, wherein a mass ratio of the resin matrix to the oil-containing fiber is in the range of 100:(1-10); the resin matrix is a photocurable resin or a thermosetting resin; the oil-containing fiber comprises a natural fiber and a lubricating oil adsorbed in the natural fiber.
Amine-functionalized organosilane/fatty acid combination systems as stain/corrosion inhibitors for the application on aluminum and its alloys
Provided herein is a composition for treating aluminum containing surfaces, wherein the composition includes a reaction product of at least one amine-functionalized organosilane and/or oligomer and/or polymer thereof and at least one fatty acid, wherein the molar ratio of the amino group/s of the at least one amine-functionalized organosilane and/or oligomer and/or polymer thereof and of the at least one fatty acid is 1.2:1 to 1:2, and wherein the at least one amine-functionalized organosilane and/or oligomer and/or polymer thereof is linked to the at least one fatty acid by at least one carboxylic acid/amine salt bond and/or at least one amide bond.
Reduced friction lubricants comprising magnesium detergents and/or overbased magnesium detergents and molybdenum based friction modifiers
The addition of mixed thio acid amide molybdenum dithiocarbamates to lubricant compositions comprising magnesium detergents and/or overbased magnesium detergents, e.g., overbased magnesium sulfonate, provides lubricant compositions that suppress Low Speed Pre-Ignition and possess excellent low friction characteristics. Furthermore, the addition of molybdenum based friction reducing additives, e.g., mixed thio acid amide molybdenum dithiocarbamates, in combination with one or more fatty acid 2-hydroxyalkylamides, to lubricant compositions comprising magnesium detergents or overbased magnesium detergents provides lubricant compositions that suppress Low Speed Pre-ignition and possess excellent low friction characteristics.
MARINE DIESEL CYLINDER LUBRICANT OIL COMPOSITIONS
Disclosed herein are marine diesel cylinder lubricating oil compositions comprising (a) a major amount of one or more Group II basestocks, and (b) a detergent composition comprising (i) one or more alkaline earth metal salts of an alkyl-substituted hydroxyaromatic carboxylic acid having a total base number (TBN) greater than 250, and (ii) one or more high overbased alkyl aromatic sulfonic acids or salts thereof; wherein the aromatic moiety of the alkyl aromatic sulfonic acids or salts thereof contains no hydroxyl groups; and wherein the marine diesel cylinder lubricating oil composition has a TBN of about 5 to about 120.
Use of Organometallic Salt Compositions for Alleviating the Formation of White Etching Cracks
The present invention relates to the use of organometallic salt compositions as lubricant additives and/or lubricant additive compositions to alleviate the formation of white etching cracks (WEC).
INTERNAL LUBRICANT COMPOSITION AND USE
The present invention relates to an internal lubricant composition comprising two or more esters in which each individual ester has a carbon chain length of between 20 and 44. The internal lubricant composition may suitably be incorporated in to a polyester polymer matrix, preferably comprising PET, PETg or PLA. Use of the internal lubricant composition in a polyester polymer matrix to improve processes for manufacture of final products from the polyester polymer matrix is also contemplated.
HUB BEARING
To provide a hub bearing that is capable of reducing a delay in a response of the hub bearing and improving a steering stability of a vehicle. A hub bearing 1 includes an outer ring 2 serving as a stationary side raceway ring, a hub wheel 3 and an inner ring 5 serving as a rotatable side raceway ring, balls 4 serving as a plurality of rolling elements disposed between a raceway surface of the stationary side raceway ring and a raceway surface of the rotatable side raceway ring, and grease that lubricates a rolling contact part between each of the raceway surfaces and the rolling elements. The surface roughness of at least one raceway surface selected from the raceway surface of the stationary side raceway ring and the raceway surface of the rotatable side raceway ring in the rolling contact part is 0.03 μmRa or less. Further, the grease has a traction coefficient in the rolling contact part of 0.04 or less at 40° C. when a vehicle speed is 20 km/h or more.
LUBRICANT AND LUBRICATION COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a lubricant containing molybdenum sulfide particles, and the molybdenum sulfide particles contain molybdenum disulfide having a 3R crystal structure. The present invention relates to a lubricating composition containing molybdenum sulfide particles, which are the lubricant, and a base oil which is a mineral oil, a synthetic oil, or a partially synthetic oil.
