Photoluminescent lubricating grease composition, photoluminescent material and the preparation methods thereof

A silole derivative is of formula (I): ##STR00001## each of the groups in the above formula is defined as those in the description. The silole derivative of formula (I) has aggregation-induced emission performance, and is particularly applicable in luminescent parts and devices, fluorescent probes, biological imaging, lubricating oils and greases. A lubricating grease composition has photoluminescence performance, as well as one or more of advantageous anti-oxidation properties, anti-wear properties, extreme pressure properties and anti-rust properties. It is applicable in many mechanical equipment in electrical industry, metallurgical industry, food industry, paper industry, automobile industry and aircraft industry.

Lubricating Base Oils from Esterified Alkoxylated Polyols Using Saturated Long-Chain Fatty Acids

The present disclosure relates to methods and compositions for making bio-based, biodegradable, and non-bioaccumulating lubricating base oils generated by esterifying alkoxylated polyols (average alkoxylation 3) with long-chain (C14) saturated and unsaturated fatty acids (FA) or fatty acids modified using industry recognized techniques.

BASE STOCKS AND LUBRICANT COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING SAME

Systems and methods are provided for block operation during lubricant and/or fuels production from deasphalted oil. During block operation, a deasphalted oil and/or the hydroprocessed effluent from an initial processing stage can be split into a plurality of fractions. The fractions can correspond, for example, to feed fractions suitable for forming a light neutral fraction, a heavy neutral fraction, and a bright stock fraction, or the plurality of fractions can correspond to any other convenient split into separate fractions. The plurality of separate fractions can then be processed separately in the process train (or in the sweet portion of the process train) for forming fuels and/or lubricant base stocks. This can allow for formation of unexpected base stock compositions.

METHOD FOR MAKING BASE OIL WITH ENHANCED COLOR STABILITY

A method for making a base oil having enhanced color stability and the base oil prepared therefrom are disclosed. The method comprises adding a phenyl benzotriazole compound to a base oil composition to form a color-stabilized base oil composition. In some cases, the phenyl benzotriazole compound has the structural formula (I):
