Smart self-driving systems with motorized wheels
A smart self-driving system includes a body, such as a piece of luggage, supported by a plurality of wheel assemblies. At least one wheel assemblies includes a wheel rotating motor configured to rotate a wheel of the wheel assembly to move the luggage in a given direction. At least one wheel assemblies includes a wheel orientation sensor configured to measure the orientation of the wheel. At least one wheel assembly includes a wheel orientation motor configured to orient the wheel in the given direction. The smart self-driving system is configured to move in forward direction that is different than a head direction of the body.
Multi-Mode Luggage Apparatus and Method
A luggage apparatus and method is described herein that introduce a separate wheeled sub-frame that mounts on the base of a luggage apparatus and which allows for dual mode use between an upright mode and a tilt mode. The geometry of the relationship between the bag frame and sub-frame of the luggage apparatus urges the bag to tilt and return upright. The luggage apparatus is securely supported about the sub-frame in both modes with a changing centre of gravity and can be pushed or pulled in either mode.
SUITCASE WITH WAGON-STYLE CART CAPABILITY
The suitcase with wagon-style cart capability is an item of luggage. The suitcase with wagon-style cart capability is formed as a cart. The suitcase with wagon-style cart capability: a) contains one or more domestic articles of a client; and, b) transports additional luggage items over a supporting surface. The suitcase with wagon-style cart capability is a rolling structure. The suitcase with wagon-style cart capability incorporates a suitcase, a plurality of telescopic handles, a plurality of casters, and a plurality of wheels. The plurality of telescopic handles, the plurality of casters, and the plurality of wheels attach to the exterior surface of the suitcase. The suitcase is a container used to store one or more domestic articles of the client. The exterior surfaces of the suitcases form one or more horizontally oriented supporting surfaces on which the additional luggage items of the client are placed for transport.
Movable container, associated electronic device and associated method
A movable container includes: a driving mechanism, a sensing device, and a control circuit. The driving mechanism is arranged to provide a momentum to the movable container. The sensing device is arranged to sense a motion feature in accordance with the momentum provided by the driving mechanism. The control circuit is coupled to the sensing device and the driving mechanism and arranged to calculate a calculated mass of the movable container in accordance with the motion feature sensed by the sensing device. The control circuit is coordinated with the driving mechanism and the sensing device via a user input. In some embodiments, the movable container is a suitcase or a luggage.
WHEEL ADAPTER TO CONVERT A STORAGE CONTAINER TO A WHEELED STORAGE CONTAINER
A wheel adapter to convert a storage container to a wheeled storage container is provided. The wheel adapter comprises a mounting bracket attachable to the storage container. The mounting bracket comprises a first leg configured to engage a bottom surface of the storage container, and a second leg configured to engage a side surface of the storage container. The second leg comprises a wheel coupling. The wheel adapter also includes a wheel rotatably connected to the wheel coupling. The wheel is constructed and arranged for rotation about an axis to provide rolling support of the storage container on the ground.
Smart luggage system with camera installed in pull rod
A smart luggage system includes a piece of luggage configured to store items for transport and a handle coupled to the luggage. The handle includes a pull rod coupled to a connecting rod. One or more cameras are disposed in a top portion of the pull rod and configured to take a photograph and/or video. One or more cameras are coupled to the luggage and/or the handle and configured to take a photograph and/or video.
Luggage protector assembly
A luggage protector assembly includes an article of luggage that has a plurality of rollers thereon. A first enclosure is positionable on the article of luggage when the article of luggage is being loaded onto a vehicle for travel. The first enclosure surrounds respective ones of the rollers thereby protecting the respective rollers from is damaged. A pair of first straps is each wrapped over the article of luggage to retain the first enclosure on the article of luggage. A second enclosure is slidably coupled to the first enclosure. The second enclosure is positionable on the article of luggage when the article of luggage is being loaded onto a vehicle for travel. The second enclosure surrounds respective ones of the rollers thereby protecting the respective rollers from is damaged. A pair of second straps is each wrapped over the article of luggage to retain the article of luggage on the second enclosure.
Travel suitcase
The travel suitcase comprises: at least one container body for containing objects and/or clothes; at least one gripping element that can be grasped by a user for the movement of said suitcase; at least one wheel for pulling the suitcase on the ground, comprising: an external rolling body made of polymeric material and comprising two lateral sides and a joining portion; two annular flanges defining a support seat; wherein the lateral sides comprise two respective ending portions inserted in the support seat and placed in mutual contact to define an air chamber with the joining portion.
