Visible Spring-Biased Castor Assembly
A castor assembly includes a base, a wheel unit and a rotation shaft. The wheel unit is located under the base and includes a pivot member, an elastic member biased and exposed between the base and the pivot member, and two rollers mounted on the pivot member. The rotation shaft is mounted between the base and the wheel unit and extends through the elastic member. The rotation shaft has a periphery provided with an operation slot. A positioning pin extends through the pivot member and is slidable in the operation slot of the rotation shaft. Thus, the elastic member is exposed outward so that the user clearly sees the elastic member and knows the shock-absorbing function provided by the elastic member.
ROBOTIC SUITCASE
A robotic suitcase is disclosed that can autonomously follow a traveler while providing him or her with additional smart functionalities. The robotic suitcase may be communicatively connected with a mobile user device via a wireless connection so that the robotic suitcase follows the mobile device.
Rollable personal container transport device with rotating platform
A rollable personal container transport device that includes a platform that is rotatably movable from a closed position adjacent a back side of the device to an open position extending beyond a front of the device to provide a surface for carrying additional items.
Luggage assembly and a frame
Some embodiments are directed to a luggage assembly, and frame, wherein the luggage assembly includes a luggage item and a wheel assembly. The wheel assembly includes at least one front wheel, and rear wheels which are all moveable between a folded and an unfolded position. The folded positions of the wheels are within the luggage assembly. The unfolded position of the rear wheels is behind the luggage assembly and the unfolded position of the front wheel is below the luggage assembly. When the wheels are in the unfolded position and the luggage assembly is arranged on the wheels on the ground, the luggage item is tilted and a projected point of gravity of the luggage item is in between the wheels. The disclosed luggage assembly is suitable for being pushed and being pulled, is very stable and provides a stable road behavior.
Multifunction Convertible Suitcase System
A multifunction suitcase system that provides greater convenience and ease of travel by providing a means for transporting and organizing additional items of luggage and personal belongings. The suitcase is able to be configured to provide the utility of a luggage cart, a shopping cart, a shopping basket, a stool, a table, and attachment points for LATCH system infant car seats.
Multi-wheel system for luggage
A multi-wheel system that minimizes wheel interactions with discontinuous and uneven surfaces. The multi-wheel system comprises wheels of varying diameters connecting to a rotating arm configured to raise and lower the wheels in response to obstacles along the rolling surface.
Carrier also usable as wagon
The present invention is directed to a suitcase which is made of a metal material such as aluminum or made of synthetic resin or fabric, is formed in a quadrangular shape, and is provided with a zipper or one-touch locking device along a center thereof so that a suitcase body can be selectively opened and closed, and in which a handle is installed to be retractable on the top surface of the suitcase body, wherein an auxiliary moving means configured such that auxiliary casters are rotated and deployed by the extension of a handle is installed on the suitcase body so that the suitcase body can be laid down and moved, and a loading guide is installed to be foldable on the suitcase body so that a load can be loaded thereonto in the state where the suitcase body is laid down.
PROTECTIVE SYSTEM FOR LUGGAGE
Protective systems for a luggage piece may include a deformable body and a cover. The cover may be configured to overlie and to be coupled with the deformable body. The cover may be more rigid than the deformable body. The deformable body may include an interior shape at least partially complementary to a recess formed in an exterior surface of the luggage piece. The deformable body may be joined to the luggage piece when positioned at least partially in the recess. External impacts exerted on the cover may be transmitted across the cover such that the forces associated with such external impacts may be exerted on the deformable body across a larger surface area than a surface area of the cover receiving the external impacts and may be at least partially absorbed by the deformable body.
Carrier apparatus
Driving wheels and non-driving wheels are installed to a lower portion of a case body. The driving wheels are driven by drive devices, respectively. A control device controls a drive operation of the drive devices. An angle sensing device senses a tilt angle of the case body about a rotational axis of the driving wheels. In a case where the tilt angle of the case body, which is sensed with the angle sensing device, is equal to or larger than a predetermined tilt angle in a state where the driving wheels contact a ground while the non-driving wheels are lifted away from the ground, the control device controls the drive devices in such a manner that the case body is held in a self-standing state with the driving wheels while keeping the non-driving wheel away from the ground.
Rolling insulated cooler with a seat and a hinged, rotatable wheel set
A portable insulated cooler having a seat and a hinged mount that secures a set of wheels to the cooler provides easy cooled transport of food and beverages, along with a cooling agent such as ice. The hinged mount secures an axle, to which the wheels are mounted, underneath the cooler in a first position for transport, and is releasable so that in a second position, the wheels rest alongside the cooler, permitting the bottom of the cooler to completely rest on the ground. A seat is rotatably affixed to the top of the cooler, providing a long-term and movable sitting location, and may be releasable from the top of the cooler for easy stowage and transport. A bottom portion of a swivel mounting the seat to the cooler may be formed on the top of the cooler as a raised circular projection with an undercut reducing the cooler height.
