METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CANDLE HAVING AN ITEM EMBEDDED WITHIN
A candle with an embedded item and methods for manufacturing same are disclosed. A method for manufacturing a candle having an embedded item can include providing a first set of items of a first value and a second set of items of a second value different from the first value, combining the two sets to create a third set, and distributing the items of the third set among a set of candles, one item per candle, where the presence, nature, or value of the item within the candle is obscured. The method can further include selling the candles for a first price, wherein, the presence of the embedded item, the nature of the embedded item, the value of the embedded item, or the value of the embedded item relative to the first price is not known to the purchaser. The embedded item can comprise an object redeemable for a prize.
Container Candle Device With Solid Permanent Display
A candle device with a solid candle wax and a permanent display is provided. In preferred embodiments the candle device is reusable. In other preferred embodiments the candle device contains an LED device capable of providing LED light to the candle device.
Method and system for revealing a prize embedded in a candle
A candle with an embedded item and methods for manufacturing same are disclosed. A method for manufacturing a candle having an embedded item can include a prize and a redeemable code. The redeemable code can be associated with a value. The value can be used to select a prize based on the associated value. A method, system and non-transitory computer-readable medium for revealing a value associated with the prize and redeemable code is also disclosed.
CANDLE COMPRISING A WICK, A FUEL AND A CANDLE DISH
The invention relates to a candle comprising a wick, a fuel and a candle dish and also to a candle dish to be used in candles. The invention further relates to a fastening device comprising a candle comprising a candle dish and fastening material.
Multiple candle wick assemblies and methods and apparatus for making the same
Wax-coated candle wick assemblies are provided within include a wax applicator sized and configured to receive therein a multiple candle wick construction having first and second spaced apart candle wicks and a ladder filament connected to and extending back and forth between the first and second candle wicks so as to establish respective crossing portions that are spaced apart from one another along a lengthwise direction of the wick construction. A forming device is positioned relative to the inlet of the wax applicator channel to assist in folding the candle wick construction about a longitudinal axis thereof and into a generally U-shaped configuration such that conveyance of the candle wick construction through the wax applicator will sequentially fold the candle wick construction into such U-shaped configuration and maintain such U-shaped configuration by the application of wax thereon.
Ecologically Friendly Candle Kit
A kit for assembling an eco-friendlier and more sustainable alternative to traditional candles, which is also versatile and user-friendly. The candle kit disclosed herein is comprised of entirely or mostly natural granulated candle wax and one or more compatible candle wicks supplied together as a set, in a readily biodegradable, and/or recyclable, sturdy packaging box. In one non-limiting embodiment granulated candle wax is poured into an existing container rather than being offered pre-molded and stuck to a candle container like traditional candles. One or more of the wicks included in the product can be inserted directly into the wax particles by the consumer to complete the candle.
Photosensitive candle
One example embodiment is a photosensitive candle comprising: (a) a candle container comprising an opening; (b) a candle component disposed in the candle container, comprising: a candle body having a surface proximate to or substantially aligned with the opening; a wick with an exposed portion protruding out of the surface of the candle body; and an optical fiber embedded in the candle body and positioned juxtapose to the wick for transmitting flame lights of the wick, wherein the optical fiber comprises a first end proximate to the exposed portion of the wick and an opposing second end; (c) a lighting control component disposed in the candle container, comprising: a casing comprising an interior cavity; a controller and a power source disposed within the interior cavity; and a light sensor connected to the controller, comprising a photosensitive element proximate to the second end of the optical fiber to detect light transmitted therefrom; and (d) at least one light-emitting device connected to the controller. In some embodiments, the controller is configured to receive light signals associated with the flame lights of the wick from the light sensor, and control the at least one light-emitting device based on the received light signals.
MULTIPLE CANDLE WICK ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS AND APPARTUS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Wax-coated candle wick assemblies are provided within include a wax applicator sized and configured to receive therein a multiple candle wick construction having first and second spaced apart candle wicks and a ladder filament connected to and extending back and forth between the first and second candle wicks so as to establish respective crossing portions that are spaced apart from one another along a lengthwise direction of the wick construction.
SAMPLER FOR A SCENTED WAXY CANDLE AND PROCESS
A sampler is presented for a sample of a scented, waxy candle material. The scented, waxy material is melted and may be diluted with compatible additives and/or liquid (organic oil or hydrocarbon), before being layered to a face of a bottom layer. A top layer (3) is applied directly over the sample and can be adhered to the bottom layer to form a seal. In another embodiment a peripheral seal, is formed between the top and the bottom layers. The seal is separable by a user pulling on a tab a portion of the top layer to expose the face of the sample to the atmosphere allowing the volatile molecules present in the candle to be released. With a repositionable glue as a seal, the top layer can be replaced to prevent further release of volatile molecules. A method is also shown for making the sample.
