Ecologically Friendly Candle Kit
A kit for assembling an eco-friendlier and more sustainable alternative to traditional candles, which is also versatile and user-friendly. The candle kit disclosed herein is comprised of entirely or mostly natural granulated candle wax and one or more compatible candle wicks supplied together as a set, in a readily biodegradable, and/or recyclable, sturdy packaging box. In one non-limiting embodiment granulated candle wax is poured into an existing container rather than being offered pre-molded and stuck to a candle container like traditional candles. One or more of the wicks included in the product can be inserted directly into the wax particles by the consumer to complete the candle.
Sage Candle Systems
A sage candle system suitable for use as a sage candle is provided. The system includes a longitudinal wick. The system also includes aggregate material configured for use as a candle arranged in a cylindrical fashion around the longitudinal wick. Additionally, the system includes an external covering material designed to cover an exterior surface of the aggregate material; and external strapping material positionable on an exterior surface of the covering material and structured to provide an opening on a top end of the sage candle system to allow igniting a top end of the longitudinal wick and wherein the external strapping material provides for structural support of the sage candle system during burning evolutions such that a functional integrity of the sage candle system is maintained during the burning evolutions and wherein the external strapping material provides for cinching a bottom end of the sage candle.
Candle wick assemblies with multiple oppositely curlable candle wicks and candles including the same
Multiple candle wicks are provided that may be placed into a candle wax (paraffin) body such that the wicks when lit curl in a direction opposite to the curl direction of an adjacent wick, e.g., adjacent ones of each wick curling in an opposite direction relative to a bisecting midplane of the candle. By such oppositely curling wicks when lit, therefore, the wax pool diameter may thereby be increased which in turn increases the amount of liberated scents from the candle body.
CANDLE, METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING A CANDLE, A CANDLE ASSEMBLY APPARATUS, AND A FUEL ELEMENT
A fuel element suitable for use in a candle assembly apparatus is described. The fuel element includes one or more surface recesses or portions configured to cooperate with other like fuel elements when stacked one atop another. A candle assembly apparatus is also described, including: a reservoir for holding fuel; a dispenser for cutting and/or feeding one or more fuel elements from the reservoir to an assembly zone to form a fuel stack; a loader for loading a fuel plug and/or a taper into the fuel stack in the assembly zone. Also described is a candle including: one or more fuel elements, including one or more through holes disposed along its length; and one or more scented fuel plugs or tapers disposed in the one or more through holes. Additionally described is a method for building a candle, the method including the steps of: removing one or more fuel elements from a fuel cartridge; mounting one or more fuel plugs or tapers on a taper holder; joining the one or more fuel elements and the fuel plug or taper so that the fuel plug or taper is disposed within the one or more fuel elements.
Pre-blended candle wax product, method and kit for creating a candle or candle wax product
This invention relates to a pre-blended candle wax product, method and kit for quickly and easily pouring a candle or candle product. The product, method and kit may be used to offer an environmentally friendly option for re-pouring candle wax into a previously used candle container or any other suitable container.
Candle with embedded item and methods for manufacturing and selling same
A candle with an embedded item and methods for manufacturing same are disclosed. A method for manufacturing a candle having an embedded item can include providing a first set of items of a first value and a second set of items of a second value different from the first value, combining the two sets to create a third set, and distributing the items of the third set among a set of candles, one item per candle, where the presence, nature, or value of the item within the candle is obscured. The method can further include selling the candles for a first price, wherein, the presence of the embedded item, the nature of the embedded item, the value of the embedded item, or the value of the embedded item relative to the first price is not known to the purchaser. The embedded item can comprise an object redeemable for a prize.
DECORATIVE WAX ELEMENT AND A METHOD OF DECORATING A CANDLE USING A DECORATIVE WAX ELEMENT
A decorative wax element used in decorating a candle as well as a method of decorating a wax candle utilizing a wax element on which has been or is applied or splattered melted colored wax in a random pattern. An undecorated wax piece is prepared either on or off the candle to be decorated. Colored molten wax is then splattered on the surface of the undecorated wax piece in a random pattern. The randomly decorated wax element may be prepared either remote from the candle and subsequently applied to the surface or indentation in the surface of the candle or alternatively, the random pattern may be applied to an undecorated wax element previously applied to the candle.
Security system for container
In combination: a) a container having a case bounding a storage space and an access opening bounded by a surface and in communication with the storage space; and b) a security system. The security system has a frame and a force applying structure on the frame. The frame and force applying structure are configured so that with the security system in operative relationship with the container, the security system can be placed selectively in: i) a secured state wherein the force applying structure exerts a compressive force against the access opening surface to thereby prevent at least a part of the security system from being withdrawn from the access opening; and ii) an assembly state wherein the at least part of the security system can be directed into and withdrawn from the access opening.
MULTIPLE CANDLE WICK ASSEMBLIES AND METHODS AND APPARTUS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Apparatus for making wax-coated candle wick assemblies are provided within include a wax applicator sized and configured to receive therein a multiple candle wick construction having first and second spaced apart candle wicks and a ladder filament connected to and extending back and forth between the first and second candle wicks so as to establish respective crossing portions that are spaced apart from one another along a lengthwise direction of the wick construction. A forming device is positioned relative to the inlet of the wax applicator channel to assist in folding the candle wick construction about a longitudinal axis thereof and into a generally U-shaped configuration such that conveyance of the candle wick construction through the wax applicator will sequentially fold the candle wick construction into such U-shaped configuration and maintain such U-shaped configuration by the application of wax thereon.
