Particulate laundry softening wash additive

A composition including a plurality of particles, the plurality of particles including: about 25% to about 94% by weight a water soluble carrier; about 5% to about 45% by weight a quaternary ammonium compound; and about 0.5% to about 10% by weight a cationic polymer; wherein the plurality of particles comprises individual particles that comprise at least one of the quaternary ammonium compound and the cationic polymer; wherein the individual particles differ from one another in weight fraction of at least one of the quaternary ammonium compound and the cationic polymer; and wherein the individual particles each have a mass from about 1 mg to about 1 g.

Dissolvable solid structure having first and second layers

A dissolvable solid structure with a first layer and a second layer. The first layer includes from about 20% to about 100%, by weight of the first layer, of a first water-soluble polymer. The second layer includes from about 1% to about 50%, by weight of the second layer, of a second water-soluble polymer, a high melting point fatty material having an average carbon chain length C12-C22 and a melting point above 25 C., and a cationic surfactant. The dissolvable solid structure can provide improved flexibility and solubility in a composition, such as water, while having a sufficient structural integrity during manufacturing.

Detergent compositions

The need for laundry detergent compositions that provide improved deposition of hydrophilic perfume ingredients onto fabrics comprising cotton fibres, and especially those perfume ingredients that deposit less readily onto cotton fibres, is met by incorporating certain cationic polymers and specific perfume ingredients into a laundry detergent composition.
