Concentrated surfactant composition
Concentrated surfactant compositions, and more specifically, concentrated low pH compositions comprising sulfated surfactants. Methods of making and using the same.
Amides of aliphatic polyamines and 12-hydroxyoctadecanoic acid and lipase stable thickener compositions
Amides of an aliphatic polyamine with two or three molecules of 12-hydroxyoctadecanoic acid, wherein the polyamine comprises at least one primary amino group for each molecule of 12-hydroxyoctadecanoic acid and additionally at least one secondary and/or tertiary amino group, can be used in a lipase stable thickener composition comprising from 50 to 95% by weight of one or more of the amides, from 5 to 50% by weight of one or more diluents and from 0 to 10% by weight water, and such thickener compositions can be prepared by a step of heating a starting mixture comprising hydrogenated castor oil and one or more aliphatic polyamines and adding one or more diluents before or after the heating step.
Method for producing a washing agent with improved optical and rheological properties
A method for producing a liquid, surfactant-containing washing agent containing: i) 20 to 80 wt. % surfactant; ii) 2 to 15 wt. % fatty acid; iii) 0.3 to 8 wt. % of salt of a divalent cation; iv) 8 to 35 wt. % solvent; the method including the steps of: a) providing a first flowable washing agent preparation containing a surfactant, fatty acid and solvent; b) introducing the salt of a divalent cation into the liquid composition so as to form a salt-containing composition; c) mixing the salt-containing composition.
METHOD OF PREPARING A LIQUID FABRIC CONDITIONER
A method for in home preparation of a liquid fabric conditioner composition, wherein a solid fabric conditioning composition comprising: fabric softening active and thickening polymer, is diluted with water and a liquid fabric conditioner composition is produced, the method comprising the step of combining the solid fabric conditioning composition and water.
LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION
An article is provided including an aqueous liquid detergent; and a package for the aqueous liquid detergent which is in direct contact with the aqueous liquid detergent, wherein the package is formed from a water-soluble, film-forming material. The aqueous liquid detergent includes: at least about 40% by weight of water based on the total weight of the aqueous liquid detergent; a builder comprising potassium carbonate, wherein the potassium carbonate is present in an amount of at least about 25 weight percent, based on the total weight of the aqueous liquid detergent; propylene glycol diacetate; and at least one surfactant.
DETERGENT COMPOSITIONS
Detergent compositions can include a surfactant; cloudiness causing perfume ingredient; and octanoic acid, nonanoic acid, decanoic acid, or a combination thereof. Also included are methods of solubilizing cloudiness causing perfume ingredients.
Method of use of composition comprising a quaternary ammonium compound, a cationic polysaccharide and a nonionic polysaccharide
The present invention relates to a method for enhancing fragrance or perfume longevity of a composition by adding to the composition (a) a quaternary ammonium compound; (b) a cationic polysaccharide; (c) a nonionic polysaccharide; and (d) a fragrance material or perfume. In particular, the quaternary ammonium compound is a biodegradable quaternary ammonium compound. The composition has improved perfume longevity.
3-IN ONE FABRIC CONDITIONERS AND SOFTENERS COMPRISING ANTIMICROBIAL AGENTS
Fabric treatment compositions are described that provide three functions to the textiles to which they are applied: sanitizing (killing microbes therein or thereon), conditioning or softening, and providing a residual antimicrobial effect to prevent immediate reinfection after treatment. Such trifunctional, or three-in-one, fabric treatments employing organosilane compounds, nonionic and cationic surfactants, a botanical (Thymol) and cationic fabric conditioners, and their use as microbicidal and microbiostatic agents, and fabric conditioners and softeners are also described.
Process for treating fluid
Embodiments of a process for treating a fluid are provided. The process for treating a fluid includes supplying a first fluid to a circulating chamber and introducing a first gas to the first fluid. A portion of the first gas is dissolved in the first fluid and a portion of the first gas is held in a head space portion of the circulating chamber. The process further includes mixing a portion of the first fluid drawn out from the circulating chamber and a portion of the first gas drawn out from the head space portion to form a mixture. The process further includes spraying the mixture back into the circulating chamber by a two-fluid nozzle. In addition, the first gas is further dissolved into the first fluid to form a high conductivity fluid. The process further includes draining the high conductivity fluid from the circulating chamber.
PROCESS FOR MAKING A LIQUID LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION
A process for making a liquid detergent composition, the process including a step of passing the liquid detergent composition via Raman Spectroscopy apparatus.
