System and method for continuous growth of fungal material
12012577 · 2024-06-18 · ·

A system and method adapted for continuous growth and harvesting of fungal fruiting bodies. The system includes a growth chamber, one or more mycelium feed assemblies, a nutrient reservoir with liquid media, one or more environmental controls to control an environment within the growth chamber and of the liquid media within the nutrient reservoir. One or more mycelium feed assemblies are arranged within the growth chamber. Each of the one or more mycelium feed assemblies includes a nutrient supply member and a mycelium colony which grows around the nutrient supply member, that continuously supplies liquid media to the mycelium colony. The method includes starting one or more mycelium colonies on the nutrient supply member, establishing that a mature colony has formed, and then maintaining the mature mycelium colony by continuous delivery of liquid medium to the mycelium colony, thus allowing for contiguous generation and harvesting of fungal fruiting bodies.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPREHENSIVE TREATMENT OF CULTIVATION POLLUTION IN SCALABLE PIG FARM

A system for comprehensive treatment of cultivation pollution in a scalable pig farm includes a source separation pigsty, a pigsty flushing water treatment system, a solid-liquid separation system, a solid high-temperature aerobic fermentation system, a liquid high-temperature aerobic fermentation system, an odor and flue gas treatment system, a boiler system and a test and control system. The source separation pigsty is designed into a pigsty that separates feces and urine from rainwater, pigsty flushing water and residual drinking water. The sludge pump pumps the feces and urine to the solid-liquid separation device. Solids separated by the solid-liquid separation device are conveyed to the solid high-temperature aerobic fermentation system, and liquid separated by the solid-liquid separation device is conveyed to the liquid high-temperature aerobic fermentation system. The boiler system includes a boiler, a circulating pump, a hot water pipeline and a water return pipeline.

CULTURE METHOD AND CULTURE DEVICE

A culture method includes: (a) a step of providing a culture medium; (b) a step of supplying fine water from a fine water generation unit to the culture medium, the fine water generation unit being configured to change between a water adsorbing state in which an electrically conductive polymer membrane adsorbs water in air as a temperature decreases and a water releasing state in which the water adsorbed by the electrically conductive polymer membrane is released as fine water as the temperature increases; and (c) a step of inoculating the culture medium supplied with the fine water with a material to be cultured and culturing the material.

Method and device for continuous dry methanation
10227612 · 2019-03-12 ·

A device for continuous dry methanation in a fermenter having a closed tank having at least one compartment to ferment the slurry comprising at least 17% dry matter. An injector to inject pressurized gas close to the bottom of the compartment via at least one chimney that descends through the compartment. The injected gas rising through the slurry creates a convective movement in the slurry around the chimney to stir the matter at the bottom of the compartment. The tank can include a first compartment into which the slurry is introduced and a second compartment into which the hydrolyzed slurry flows after hydrolysis and acidogenesis in the first compartment. Methanogenesis takes place in the second compartment.
