AUTOMATED METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PREPARING BIOPROCESS SOLUTIONS

An automated apparatus for preparing a liquid bioprocess solution includes at least one mixing chamber having a lower port and an upper port for fluid to enter the at least one mixing chamber, an array of tubing for fluid flow within the system, a plurality of valves provided within the tubing, and a mixing controller configured to cause the automated apparatus to perform a series of sequential mixing steps causing the preparation of the liquid bioprocess solution from a dry ingredient. The series of sequential mixing steps include opening a first valve associated with the lower port to provide fluid to the at least one mixing chamber through the lower port, and after a predetermined amount of elapsed time, closing the first valve and opening a second valve associated with the upper port to provide fluid to the at least one mixing chamber through the upper port.

ENZYMATIC DEGRADATION OF CELLULOSIC SUBSTRATES IN THE PRESENCE OF LIGNOCELLULOSE MILLING PARTICLES

A process and apparatus for the enzymatic degradation of a cellulosic substrate is disclosed. The process comprises agitating a composition with milling particles, wherein the milling particles are or comprise a lignocellulosic material and wherein the composition comprises: a. the cellulosic substrate; b. a cellulase enzyme; and c. a liquid medium.

RAPID PRETREATMENT
20230295678 · 2023-09-21 ·

Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and compositions for the pretreatment of biomass within seconds with low inhibitor formation. The pretreatment process is used to convert biomass to a fuel or other useful chemicals by subjecting the feedstock to a rapid retention time under pressure and temperature and/or chemical reactant. The system includes a continuously-operating valve discharge apparatus to discharge pretreated feedstock while maintaining uniform pressure on the pretreatment system.

PLURIPOTENT STEM CELL PRODUCTION SYSTEM

A stem cell production system provided with a preintroduction cell-feeding solution channel 20 through which a solution containing cells passes, an induction factor-feeding solution mechanism 21 for feeding a pluripotency induction factor to the preintroduction cell-feeding solution channel 20, a factor introduction device 30 connected to the preintroduction cell-feeding solution channel 20 for making cells with induction factor introduced by introducing the pluripotency induction factor into the cells, a cell mass-making device 40 for making multiple cell masses comprising stem cells by culturing the cells with induction factor introduced, and a packaging device 100 for sequentially packaging each of the multiple cell masses.

TREATMENT OF A MASS OF MATERIAL BY PRESSING

--A device and method for dewatering a mass of material and a method and system for recycling a biogenic material. A vertical press has a press space formed between a tool provided with openings and a press plunger movable relative thereto. Conveying means convey the mass of material from a feed side toward an opposite discharge side. The press space is laterally confined by opposite side walls but is not confined in the direction of the feed side and the discharge side. A biogenic material is converted microbially and/or enzymatically into gas and fermentation residues in a fermentation plant and the latter are dewatered by means of a vertical press to such an extent that thermal utilization is made possible.--

THYROID MANUFACTURING PROCESS AND SPECIFICATIONS

The invention relates to a thyroid manufacturing process, and more particularly, to a novel thyroid manufacturing process which encompasses a new drying step during the thyroid extraction step and a further homogenization, which allow in a thyroid product with a controlled value of hormones, and it is essentially free of virus and bacteria.
