BIOPROCESSING SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR REDUCING CELL SHEAR IN A BIOPROCESSING SYSTEM
An apparatus for managing gas bubbles in a bioprocessing system includes a body portion having a underside surface, and an opening in the body portion. The body portion is configured for placement within a bioreactor vessel such that the underside surface of the body portion is disposed in a liquid within the bioreactor vessel. The underside surface of the body portion is configured to divert rising gas bubbles in the liquid towards the opening.
CELL CULTURE SYSTEM
A cell culture system includes: a cell culture container disposed in an anaerobic chamber; and an external apparatus. The external apparatus has a main body unit disposed in the anaerobic chamber and an operation unit disposed outside the anaerobic chamber. The main body unit is configured to perform a predetermined process onto the cell culture container. The operation unit is configured to transmit or receive a signal associated with the predetermined process to or from the main body unit by wireless communication.
Edible foodstuffs and bio reactor design
Methods of production of edible filamentous fungal biomat formulations are provided as standalone protein sources and/or protein ingredients in foodstuffs as well as a one-time use or repeated use self-contained biofilm-biomat reactor comprising a container with at least one compartment and placed within the compartment(s), a feedstock, a fungal inoculum, a gas-permeable membrane, and optionally a liquid nutrient medium.
Microtiter plate and uses thereof
Provided herein are microtiter plates, systems, and uses thereof. In particular, provided herein are cell culture (e.g., microtiter plates) with a plurality of wells that comprise diffusion channels, systems comprising the devices (e.g., comprising cells), and use of the devices and systems in co-culture applications (e.g. in high throughput screening) and biological assays.

Methods and devices for generating chemical and gaseous gradients in microfluidic platforms
Disclosed herein are devices, methods and compositions for making and using microfluidic devices comprising making a microfluid device comprising one or more channels; and coating at least a portion of an interior surface of at least one channel, wherein one or more gradients are formed by simultaneously introducing into the device a first cellular culture media composition having a certain concentration of a gas, an active agent or both and a second composition having a concentration of a gas, an active agent or both that is/are different from that of the first composition. Such devices are used to investigate cellular responses to physiological states and active agents.
TISSUE MATURATION BIOREACTOR SYSTEMS WITH UNIFORM CELL DISTRIBUTION
System and method for exercising cells and/or tissue in a sealed bioreactor. System includes a cartridge having a stretching means and a means to retain cells on a scaffold mounted within the cartridge during seeding. System includes a bioreactor including a sealed enclosure, the sealed enclosure housing the scaffold and the cartridge, the bioreactor enabling uniform seeding of the scaffold with the cells, the seeding occurring within the sealed enclosure to protect from environmental contamination. The bioreactor system provides a means to supply fresh media to the cells and/or tissue, and a means to remove waste products.

FLUID CONNECTOR
Disclosed herein are cell processing systems, devices, and methods thereof. A system for cell processing may comprise a plurality of instruments each independently configured to perform one or more cell processing operations upon a cartridge, and a robot capable of moving the cartridge between each of the plurality of instruments.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CELL CULTURING
Cell culture systems and methods provide improved immunotherapeutic product manufacturing with greater scalability, flexibility, and automation. Cell culture systems are configured with interchangeable cartridges, allowing versatility and scalability. Systems are configured to have multiple connected cell culture chambers, which allows parallel processing of different types of cells. Gas-impermeable cell culture chambers and methods for generating cells in closed systems prevent contamination and user error. Methods for recycling cell culture medium provide additional efficiencies.
