The fluid system also includes a filter protector adjacent to a fastener in the tube assembly and including a first connector fitted with a first tube, a second connector fitted with a second tube, and a wall that arcs between the first connector and the second connector and limits contact between a sock filter enveloping the tube assembly and the fastener.
Magnetic Particle Separation System with Flexible Bioprocessing Container
A magnetic particle separation system includes a magnetic field generating device having an upper surface with a receiving area formed thereon; and a magnetic field generating element disposed beneath the upper surface, the magnetic field generating element being configured to produce a magnetic field above the upper surface. A container assembly is disposed on the upper surface and includes: a flexible container having an outer wall with an interior surface that at least partially bounds an internal compartment, the outer wall having a front side and an opposing back side with the internal compartment disposed therebetween; a fluid inlet extending through the outer wall at the front side; a fluid outlet extending through the outer wall at the front side; and a first partition projecting into the internal compartment from the front side between the fluid inlet and the fluid outlet.
BREWING SYSTEM, BIOREACTOR PROVIDED WITH SUCH A SYSTEM AND IMPLEMENTATION METHOD THEREOF
Said brewing system is intended to be fitted to a bioreactor which can be used in particular in milk and cheese factories, fermented dough production units, breweries, wine-making units or even low-temperature fermentation units in an aerobic or anaerobic environment, in particular lacto-fermentation units for the purpose of preserving vegetables, wastewater treatment stations, fish farming ponds with or without temperature control. According to the invention, said brewing system comprises:—at least one flexible and sealed brewing chamber (2, 3),—means (4) for receiving a fluid referred to as the filling fluid,—means (5, 51, 70, 71) for transferring the filling fluid between the brewing chambers (2, 3), and means (4) for receiving the filling fluid as well as varying the volume of the filling fluid admitted into each brewing chamber.
READILY ERECTABLE INSTALLATION RESPECTIVE KIT-OF-PARTS AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF BIOGAS AND LIQUID FERTILIZER BY ANEROBIC DIGESTION ON INDUSTRIAL SCALE
A readily erectable installation for recycling organic waste into biogas and liquid fertilizer, on an industrial scale, implementing essentially anaerobic digestion processes, is described; the readily erectable installation includes: a cylindrically shaped assemblable enclosure and a pliant collapsible anaerobic digester, suspendable from the enclosure; a compact kit-of-parts for erecting the installation and respective method using the readily erectable installation for recycling organic waste into biogas and liquid fertilizer are described.
CELL CULTURE SOLUTION CONTAINER AND DISPENSER
A container (100) having a first end (102) a second end (104), and a deformable middle portion (106) and methods for manufacturing the container are disclosed. The container has a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration. The first and second ends are rigid. The container is configured to store cell culture solution powder. Methods and systems (e.g., a dispenser) for creating culture solution using the container are also disclosed.
PLATFORMS AND SYSTEMS FOR AUTOMATED CELL CULTURE
Disclosed herein are platforms, systems, and methods including a cell culture system that includes a cell culture container comprising a cell culture, the cell culture receiving input cells, a cell imaging subsystem configured to acquire images of the cell culture, a computing subsystem configured to perform a cell culture process on the cell culture according to the images acquired by the cell imaging subsystem, and a cell editing subsystem configured to edit the cell culture to produce output cell products according to the cell culture process.
SENSOR POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR A BIOPROCESS ENGINEERING INSTALLATION
A sensor positioning system for a bioprocess engineering unit, wherein a container is provided for receiving a biological medium which, when installed, extends in the axial direction from an upper container end to a lower container end, wherein a holder is provided for holding the container when installed, wherein a sensor is provided for fixing to the container. A positioning aid device for positioning the sensor to be fixed is provided on the container, the positioning aid device has a positioning aid that can be applied directly to or near the container on the holder, which can be brought into different vertical positions and/or circumferential positions relative to at least one reference point provided on the container and/or holder, and the positioning aid device has a technical storage medium or analog print medium with an allocation list.
Closed Tissue Disaggregation and Cryopreservation
Disclosed is a device (100, 200) for the disaggregation of tissue samples into individual cells or cell clumps in a closed flexible tissue sample bag (10); the device including two or more resilient feet (134/136, 234/236) which tread sequentially a tissue sample bag receiving area (148,248). Also disclosed is a heat transfer plate (150, 250) for transferring heat energy to or from the area (148,248), the plate having one plate surface (151,251) adjacent the area (148,248) and an opposing surface (152,252) exposed to external thermal influence which faces away from the area (148,248). Further disclosed is a tissue sample receiving bag (10) comprising one or more flexible plastics cavity (12) formed from two layers of the plastics sealed around their edges to form a generally rectilinear periphery with the cavity or cavities (12) within the periphery, and at one side of the periphery is formed one or more sealable access ports (16). One part of the bag is left unsealed to provide a tissue sample receiving opening.
