BIOLOGICAL DISINFECTION OR STERILIZATION INDICATOR
A biological indicator for testing the efficacy of sterilization or disinfection processes of closed environments or confined spaces, the biological indicator comprising a carrier; biological material supported on or embedded in the carrier; and a carrier container comprising a body and a cap. The carrier is fixed within an inner space of the cap, the cap being able to be placed in an open position completely exposing the carrier and the biological material to the closed environment or confined space to be disinfected. A method for determine the efficacy of a process of sterilization or disinfection of closed environments or confined spaces, preferably by means of an enzyme and a fluorescence compound, using said biological indicator.
TISSUE PRINTER
Disclosed herein is a bioprinter that enables the in situ formation of architected planar biomaterials and tissues by translating a printer head along a deposition surface, such as skin wounds. In handheld configurations of of the instrument, cell-laden biopolymer solutions are perfused through a moving microfabricated printhead and deposited onto a stationary planar surface or a wound. The printer head may be translated via a drive mechanism. Different embodiments of the instrument are disclosed form vivo application in small animals, as well as for large animal and clinical application. A stationary embodiment of the instrument is well suited for the continuous formation and roll-to-roll processing of planar biomaterials and tissues.
Temperature control apparatus
A tempering device for tempering of biomass contained in a container, including at least one tempering mechanism, and at least one conveying device for conveying a mass flow of biomass in a main flow direction. The at least one conveying device includes at least one agitator, and wherein the at least one tempering mechanism is arranged in the main flow direction generated by the at least one conveying device. The at least one tempering mechanism is tubular with an inner tube and with an outer tube arranged coaxially to the inner tube. The inner tube and the outer tube form an intermediate space through which a tempering medium may flow. The tempering mechanism is oriented relative to the conveying device such that, in operation of the heating device, at least 40% of the delivery volume of the mass flow generated by the conveying device flows through the inner tube.
Personal laboratory for genetic engineering, culturing and analysis of microorganisms and biochemicals
A personal laboratory apparatus includes a plurality of life sciences laboratory modules disposed on or in a common housing. The laboratory modules include a cooling station, a heating station, an incubator, a bioreactor, and a removable fluidic cartridge that is fluidly coupled to the bioreactor. The personal laboratory apparatus can be sold as a kit with a wetware kit that includes laboratory hardware and ingredients for performing a genetic-engineering experiment. The wetware kit includes a plurality of test tubes and a pre-measured volume or mass of a plurality of materials, each pre-measured volume or mass disposed in a corresponding test tube.
Mini-incubator carrier box “Mini-incubator”
The carriers that are available in the market don't maintain all the necessary parameters that are mentioned in the subject matter of this application. Many of them are: 1) Costly 2) Allow the transport of cells for short period of time 3) Are suitable for transporting certain type of cells 4) Don't include control for all the parameters that are required for the experiments 5) Need extra steps that can affect cell/organs and waste the time, efforts and money of the researchers. 6) Limit researchers for using containers with certain sizes and materials. 7) Involve changing the conditions of cell growth such as splitting the cells, freezing, centrifuge them during the process of transporting them. Alternatively, the Mini-incubator carrier box in my invention is an economic transport system and practical. It enables the researchers to fix different containers at different sizes using clamps and screws and to transport the organs/samples/cells in any container for long period of time and long distance under optimized conditions without the need of extra steps/costs.
CELL CULTURE KIT
A cell culture kit is provided. The cell culture kit allows a cultured cell to be easily separated when the cell is cultured and separates a cell without separate trypsinization for subculture.
Apparatus for inoculating agar plate
The apparatus for inoculating agar plates includes a spray chamber having an upper opening for receiving an atomized microbial suspension and a lower opening for receiving an agar plate. The apparatus also includes an atomizer including a reservoir and a fluid tube for delivering the microbial suspension to the atomizer nozzle. A containment feature extends around an inner surface of the spray chamber to catch any drop that may form on its inner wall and advance down towards the lower opening. The spray chamber allows multiple agar plates to be quickly inoculated without cross-contamination of agar habitats, without contaminating the outside of the plates, and without contaminating the work area.
SET FOR TRANSPORTING CULTURE CONTAINER AND UNIT FOR TRANSPORTING CELL OR BIOLOGICAL TISSUE
A culture container transportation set suitable for cultured state-maintaining transportation is provided. A culture container transportation set A1 includes: a culture container 13 including a vessel 13 made up of a bottom wall 11 and a tubular side wall 12 rising from the bottom wall 11; a flexible cover 2 covering an upper edge portion 121 of the side wall 12; a hard pressing member 3 provided on the cover 2; a cushioning material 4 of shape restorability; and a housing container 6 that houses the culture container 1, the cover 2, the pressing member 3 and the cushioning material 4 in an assembled state in which these components are stacked while pressing these components from above and below. The cushioning material 4 is provided between the housing container 6 and the culture container 1 or between the pressing member 3 and the housing container 6.
