A protective and/or ornamental case for a foldable handheld electronic device. The case includes a front shell and a back shell pivotally connected to one another by one or more springs or other tension mechanisms. A first portion of an electronic device is inserted into the front shell and a second portion of the electronic device is inserted into the back shell. The tension mechanisms retain the front and back shells operatively engaged with one another as the electronic device housed in the case is pivotally or hingedly opened and closed, help prevent unintended opening or closing of the device, and keep the device open or closed when so positioned by a user.

A protective perfume case for protecting a perfume bottle includes a top case and a bottom case. The top case has a top perimeter and the top perimeter has a channel. The top case forms an upper cavity. The bottom case has a bottom perimeter and the bottom perimeter has a lip that is selectively engageable within the channel of the top perimeter. The bottom case forms a lower cavity. An upper foam insert is coupled to the top case within the upper cavity. A lower foam insert is coupled to the bottom case within the lower cavity. The upper foam insert and the lower foam insert are configured to receive a perfume bottle therebetween.

A thermal bag includes a thermal bag main body and an upper cover. A side shaping board is interlaid between the fabrics around the thermal bag main body. The upper cover includes a pair of half covers. An opening assembly is connected between the two half covers. Atop shaping board is interlaid between the fabrics of each of the half covers. A hinge assembly is connected between the side shaping board and the top shaping board located at the same side of the opening assembly. The hinge assembly drives the half covers to open/close the opening of the thermal bag quickly.

A device for the storage of emergency information or items provided in a water-resistant protective case wherein the case is easily transportable or may be molded or formed into a larger structural component, the protective case including a base and a top hinged to said base to provide water-resistant sealing allowed in an open or closed position. The case base and top having side walls to create a volume within the case to provide storage within the case for items or emergency information.

The wallet is biased to the open position by a pre tensioned skin which covers windows in the two shell halves. The skin allows temporary outward bulging by elasticity, and immediately springs back into the initial unloaded state at the time the bulging load is removed.

A hinge is disclosed herein. Exemplary methods and systems for incorporating a hinge into a container to facilitate retention of the container in a given state are provided. A container having a hinge are described herein, wherein the hinge may include a first portion, a second portion, and a retention interface.

A pill container includes a base with a cavity and a lid movable between a closed position and an open position. The base has an integral spring tab such that when the lid is unlocked from the base, the spring tab pushes against an interior part of the lid to move the lid from the closed position to the open position.

The present invention provides a packaging assembly for packaging one or more articles, comprising: an inner body part which defines at least one inner compartment to receive an article; an outer body part that at least partially encompasses the inner body part; and a cover member which is movable between a closed position to prevent access to the at least one inner compartment and an open position to permit access to the at least one inner compartment; wherein the outer body part is movable relative to the inner body part between a first position and a second position to move the cover member between the closed position and the open position.
