SHORTFALL QUANTITY LIQUID CONTAINER
A small-volume liquid container for dispensing a liquid medium, especially biological medium, into a bioprocessing system, especially into a bioreactor, wherein the liquid container provides an accommodation volume for the liquid medium, wherein the liquid container comprises two dimensionally stable container parts, which are movable relative to one another between an initial position and an end position, and an outlet connection for discharge of the liquid medium. It is proposed that the liquid container comprises a shape-changeable delimitation means which at least sectionally delimits the accommodation volume and which is connected to the dimensionally stable container parts in such a way that a relative movement of the dimensionally stable container parts to one another, causing a change in volume of the accommodation volume, is associated with a change in shape of the delimitation means.
CELL DISPENSER
An apparatus is provided for dispensing cells which comprises a determination unit to perform a determination as to whether a receptacle (i.e. a well) contains exactly one sample cell. This is because a medical study may require each cell in a colony of cultivated sample cells to each be derived from a common sample cell. The apparatus also comprises a dispenser to dispense one or more feeder cells into the receptacle based on the determination (i.e. when it is determined that the receptacle contains exactly one sample cell). The feeder cells which the apparatus is arranged to dispense are one or more feeder cells which are adapted to be responsive to a trigger condition being met to trigger death of that feeder cell. When the trigger condition is met, such as by controlling an environment of the receptacle, cell death of the feeder cells in the receptacle is triggered which results in only sample cells remaining alive.
CELL CULTURE VESSEL AND METHOD FOR CULTURING CELL
A cell culture vessel comprising a housing in which a culture chamber is provided. In the housing, at least two holes that connect the outside of the housing and a culture chamber are provided.
CELL RECOVERY APPARATUS, CELL RECOVERY METHOD, AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A cell recovery apparatus includes an observation apparatus for observing the inside of a medium in a container via an insertion section to be inserted into the medium, and a recovery apparatus that is positioned relative to a predetermined region to be observed by the observation apparatus and recovers a cell in the medium from the container.
Bone Marrow Adipose Portion Isolation Device and Methods
The embodiments disclosed herein generally relate to systems, devices and methods for the fractionation, isolation, extraction and processing of the adipose supernatant layer of a bone marrow aspirate. In particular, the various embodiments relate to systems, devices, and methods of obtaining, utilizing, and processing the adipose supernatant layer of a bone marrow aspirate as a source of mesenchymal stem cells.
POWER DEVICE OF A MICRO CHANNEL FOR EXTERNAL CIRCULATION OF A BIOREACTOR
The present disclosure provides a power device of a micro channel for external circulation of a bioreactor. The power device of the micro channel may be disposed outside the bioreactor and in fluid connection with the bioreactor, the power device of the micro channel may be of a shape of a box body. The power device of the micro channel may comprise: a stacked layer disposed in the box body, including a first shell plate, a second shell plate, and a sealing film sandwiched between the first shell plate and the second shell plate; and a liquid buffer device including a first liquid cavity and a second liquid cavity disposed in the box body, the first liquid cavity and the second liquid cavity may be fixed to an outer end surface of the stacked layer. The power device of the micro channel may be of a box shape, thereby reducing the volume and production cost thereof.
CELL PICKING DEVICE AND CELL PICKING METHOD
A cell picking device for sucking cells from a liquid sample in a sample container includes a sucking member to which a pipette tip is attachable, a driver that moves the sucking member and performs suction through the sucking member and the pipette tip, a work mode switcher that switches a work mode of the driver between a first mode and a second mode, and a controller that controls the driver.
A MICRO PHYSIOLOGICAL MODEL FOR NEURONAL AND MUSCULAR DISEASES AND DISORDERS
Microfluidic devices with neuronal cells, muscle cells, and optionally other cell types co-cultured therein are provided. Typically one or more the cells has a mutation that contributes to or causes a neuronal or muscular disease or disorder. For example, in some embodiments, one or more of the cultured cells are derived from a subject with a neuronal or muscular disease or disorder. The microfluidic device can facilitate formation of a 3D motor unit and a neuromuscular junction in vitro, and be used to monitor the molecular, biochemical, cellular, and morphological differences in the formation of such structures by healthy and diseased cells, and for testing compounds, dosages of compounds, dosing regimes, and combinations thereof, that may improve or worsen their formation. An exemplary combination drug therapy identified in this way is also provided.
BREWING SYSTEM, BIOREACTOR PROVIDED WITH SUCH A SYSTEM AND IMPLEMENTATION METHOD THEREOF
Said brewing system is intended to be fitted to a bioreactor which can be used in particular in milk and cheese factories, fermented dough production units, breweries, wine-making units or even low-temperature fermentation units in an aerobic or anaerobic environment, in particular lacto-fermentation units for the purpose of preserving vegetables, wastewater treatment stations, fish farming ponds with or without temperature control. According to the invention, said brewing system comprises:—at least one flexible and sealed brewing chamber (2, 3),—means (4) for receiving a fluid referred to as the filling fluid,—means (5, 51, 70, 71) for transferring the filling fluid between the brewing chambers (2, 3), and means (4) for receiving the filling fluid as well as varying the volume of the filling fluid admitted into each brewing chamber.
CELL PICKING DEVICE AND CELL PICKING METHOD
A cell picking device that sucks cells from a liquid sample in a sample container and accommodates the sucked cells in any of a plurality of wells of an accommodating plate, includes a suction discharger that sucks cells in the sample container and discharges the sucked cells into any of the plurality of wells, the receiver that receives selection of a well in which cells are to be accommodated out of the plurality of wells of the accommodating plate as a selection well, a driver that adjusts a relative positional relationship between the suction discharger and the plurality of wells of the accommodating plate, and a work controller that controls the driver such that the suction discharger discharges cells into the received selection well out of the plurality of wells of the accommodating plate.
