Treatment methods for reduction of (1.fwdarw.3)-β-D-glucan leachables from cellulose-containing filter materials are described.
METHOD OF RECOVERING CELLS AND CELL RECOVERY APPARATUS
Provided are a method of recovering cells cultured on a substrate, the method including: a step 1 of adding a cell detachment solution containing a metal ion chelating agent to the substrate having the cells adhering thereto to bring the cells into contact with the cell detachment solution; a step 2 of applying ultrasonic vibration to the substrate and the cells to detach the cells from the substrate; and a step 3 of obtaining the cells singulated from the cells detached in the step 2, and a cell recovery apparatus capable of implementing the method of recovering cells.
Cell culture apparatus and cell culture method
Provided is a cell culture apparatus including a cell supply unit that supplies cells; a culture medium supply unit that supplies a culture medium; an additive supply unit that supplies an additive for inducing the differentiation of undifferentiated cells; a stirring unit that stirs a processing target; a separation unit that separates a component contained in the processing target; a culture vessel that cultures the cells; a first flow channel that forms a circulation route passing through the cell supply unit, the stirring unit, the separation unit, and the culture vessel; a second flow channel that connects the culture medium supply unit and the first flow channel; a third flow channel that connects the additive supply unit and the first flow channel; and a control unit that controls the feeding of liquid through the first flow channel, the second flow channel, and the third flow channel.
Cultivation bag assembly for cultivating microbes
A cultivation bag assembly for the cultivation of microbes, fungi and other organisms includes an inner bag having first and second walls that are joined together along side edges to define an inner bag interior for containing a food substrate and an organism to be cultivated. At least one of the first and second walls is constructed of a layer of water-vapor permeable material to allow the passage of water vapor therethrough. An outer bag having first and second walls is joined along side edges to define an outer bag interior. The first and second walls of the outer bag are formed from gas impermeable layers. The inner bag and outer bag are coupled together at a first end of each of the inner bag and outer bag. The inner bag is contained within the interior of the outer bag in a cultivation configuration. A window is provided on the inner bag to allow one to view the interior of the inner bag through the window.
BIOPROCESSING INSTALLATION
The invention relates to a bioprocessing system having a main line (2) for conduction of a main flow (3) of a liquid, in particular biological, medium (45), having a main flow pump (5) for generation of the main flow (3) and having a system part (46) connected to the main line (2). What is proposed is that the bioprocessing system (1) comprises a powder transfer system (8) for metered delivery, in particular dust-free metered delivery, of an additive (47) and a feed line (9) which is connected to the powder transfer system (8) and which opens into the main line (2) at a feed point (10) and which comprises a return flow preventer (11) for prevention of a return flow of liquid medium (45), that the powder transfer system (8) feeds the additive (47) into the feed line (9) in powder form and drives it toward the feed point (10) by means of a pressurized transport gas (12) and that at least some of the fed additive (47) is input into the liquid medium (45) within the main line (2) downstream of the feed point (10) before the liquid medium (45) enriched with the additive (47) passes through or reaches the system part (46) connected to the main line (2).
Attachment device for single use containers
This disclosure relates to equipment utilized to manufacture chemical agents, particularly biopharmaceuticals, using Disposable Containers (DCs).
Cell maintainer for autologous cell therapy production
In some aspects, the invention relates to automated cell culture incubators and their methods of use. In one aspect, the disclosure provides cell culture incubators having an airlock chamber, a storage chamber and/or an internal chamber. In some aspects, the disclosure provides methods for producing autologous mammalian cell cultures.
REDUCTION OF LEACHABLE BETA-GLUCAN LEVELS FROM CELLULOSE-CONTAINING FILTER MATERIALS
Treatment methods for reduction of (1.fwdarw.3)-β-D-glucan leachables from cellulose-containing filter materials are described.
DEVICE FOR ENSURING A STERILE ENVIRONMENT FOR INCUBATING CELL CULTURES
A device for providing a sterile environment for the incubation of cell cultures is proposed, comprising a warming chamber with heating elements, sensors for temperature, humidity and CO2, and a gas supply providing a gas connection in the interior. The device also has a cultivation tank located in the warming chamber. This has a sealable passage for each sensor, and also a sealable gas inlet and outlet that couples to the gas connection inside the warming chamber. The sensors of the warming chamber are arranged to fit into respective passages of the cultivation vessel. The device also has a water reservoir arranged in the cultivation tank. The three elements of the warming chamber, the cultivation container and the water reservoir can be sterilized separately using the optimal method for each. Since the sensors are not part of the cultivation container, the latter can also be decontaminated by high temperatures. The sterilized warming chamber ensures that the cell cultures in the cultivation container cannot be contaminated from the outside, nor can they cause contamination in the laboratory.
Sampling Device And Cell Culture System
A cell culturing system configured to move a liquid sample from a cell culturing device to a sampling channel via a sample introduction channel. The sampling device includes a sampling channel having a main-mechanism-side pump disposed between a cleaning solution storage unit and the sample introduction channel and is configured to allow a cleaning solution to flow to a detection unit. The sample introduction channel includes an introduction-mechanism-side pump that is configured to allow the sample to flow from the sample introduction channel to the detection unit.
