A station for the treatment of hair, comprising: a washbasin (2), provided with a seat (21) for enabling a user to rest his/her neck and a drain (9) for draining the water from the washbasin (2); a dispenser (3) for dispensing steam inside the washbasin; a spray head (8) with an attached mixer tap (81) for dispensing hot or cold water; a cover (4) associated with the washbasin (2) to take on at least a closed position, in which it defines, together with the washbasin (2) a working space (V), and an open position; wherein the cover (4) comprises a window (41) to enable the users face to protrude outside of the working space (V).

The cover (4) comprises a pair of openings (42) arranged to enable insertion of an operator's hands inside the space (V).

wherein R.sub.1 is straight or branched, saturated or unsaturated alkyl chain with 4 to 18 C atoms, wherein the total concentration of water is not more than 10% by weight, calculated to the total weight of the composition, wherein the composition comprises one or more polyol at a concentration of at least 40% by weight, calculated to the total weight of the composition, and wherein the one or more glyceryl ether according to the above general structure is selected from ethylhexyl glycerin, hexylglycerin, heptylglycerin, methylheptylglycerin.

The invention relates to a cosmetic device for cleansing the hair, comprising: an ultrasonic transmitter, a handpiece comprising a probe cooperating with a counter-form so as to pinch the lock of hair between a bearing surface of the counter-form and a distal outer surface of the probe.

It also relates to the cosmetic method for cleansing the hair that uses said device, preferably with a cleansing composition comprising at least one surfactant.

A device includes a pump and a brushhead. The pump includes a housing and plunger. The housing has an upper opening, a cavity configured to store a composition therein, and a tip having a dispensing opening. The plunger is slidably disposed within housing such that it is moveable with respect to the housing. The brushhead includes a first plurality of bristle bores and a second plurality of bristle bores, each of which extend from a bottom surface of the brushhead towards an opposing top surface and have a bristle bundle extending therefrom. The brushhead includes a generally central throughhole extending between the bottom surface and the opposing top surface. The pump is coupled to the brushhead via the tip of the housing such that actuation of the plunger causes a portion of the composition stored in the housing to be dispensed on at least a portion of the bristle bundles.

A portable grooming device is detachably coupled to a shower, sink, or bathtub and includes a shower head style, flow-through hair-comb and flexible hose, through which water will travel, making the act of washing, conditioning, and combing one's hair, easier, more enjoyable, more effective, and more convenient. The portable grooming device includes a flexible hose configured to be detachably coupled to an existing water-supply source, and a comb in fluid communication with the flexible hose wherein the comb is detachably mated to the hose. Advantageously, the comb is configured to discharge fluid outwardly and away therefrom.

A two way spray system for shampooing and rinsing hair by saturating the entire head at once, or a section at a time with a redesigned spray handle with two control levers, and a adjustable basin spray. Inside the spray handle are three canals, a diverter canal situated between a intake canal and a outlet canal. The spray handle has a top lever that opens the intake canal sending water through the front nozzle, and a bottom lever that opens the diverter canal sending water into the outlet canal then to the basin spray in the shampoo basin. When operating both levers at once the entire head is saturated without the client having to lift or move their head. And while rinsing the back of the head the basin sprays adjustability for various length hair, children, and adults prevents water from running down their back wetting their cloths.

A process for treating, especially for washing, the hair, including applying at least one cosmetic active ingredient to the head of hair using a dispensing device. The dispensing device including a hand piece preferably having at least two nozzles, the jets of which collide with one another, to form a mixture of water and of the active ingredient, this mixture originating from a collection basin arranged below the user's head.

The present disclosure relates to hair-treatment compositions, which are particularly useful for repairing, strengthening, and protecting hair from damage. The hair-treatment composition include at least 0.5 wt. % of at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof, and optionally, at least 0.5 wt. % of at least one non-polymeric mono, di, or tricarboxylic acid, and/or a salt thereof. Additional components such as surfactants and water may also be included. The unique components of the hair-treatment compositions restructure the hair fibers and result in the hair exhibiting improved properties such as increased hair fiber strength, better discipline, and more curl definition.

The present disclosure relates to methods for treating hair, which are particularly useful for repairing, strengthening, and protecting hair from damage. The methods include applying to the hair each of the following components, together, separately, or in any combination thereof, in one or more hair-treatment compositions: (a) at least one amino acid or amino sulfonic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions in an amount of at least 0.5 wt. %; (b) at least one non-polymeric mono, di, or tricarboxylic acid, and/or a salt thereof, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions in an amount of at least 0.5 wt. %; and (c) at least one non-taurate surfactant, which is present in at least one of the one or more hair-treatment compositions.

Hair treated with the methods exhibit desirable cosmetic properties such as smoothness, gloss, improved combability, and improved strength and elasticity.
