A hair holder (1) of the present invention has a tubular body (2) which has: a first opening (21) located at one end; and a second opening (22) located at the other end, and which is configured to allow a lock of hair (H) to be inserted from the first opening (21) toward the second opening (22) and to be capable of being rolled up. The tubular body (2) has a longitudinal direction and a width direction that is orthogonal to the longitudinal direction. The tubular body (2) has two sheets that form outer surfaces. At least one of the two sheets is formed of a color-changeable sheet that satisfies conditions (1) and (2) below: (1) an L* value in an L*a*b* color coordinate space is 90 or less; and (2) a color difference ΔE*.sub.ab value in the L*a*b* color coordinate space between before and after impregnation with a standard hair treatment agent is 1.0 or greater. The standard hair treatment agent contains ammonium thioglycolate in an amount of 6 mass %, ammonium hydrogencarbonate in an amount of 2 mass %, and disodium edetate in an amount of 0.5 mass %, the balance being water, and the standard hair treatment agent is adjusted to a pH of 8.4 at 20° C. using a 28 mass % aqueous solution of ammonia.

A biodegradable hair sheet comprises a main body having a first surface and a second surface, the first surface having a texture thereon. The main body is appointed to receive a portion of hair on the first surface and texture thereon in an open configuration. At least one fastener for securing the main body in a closed configuration is provided. The biodegradable hair sheet is composed of a material that degrades in water.

A hair holder (1) includes a tubular body (2) that is constituted by a sheet and through which a bundle of hair can be inserted from an opening (21) at a one end toward an opening (22) at the other end, and has a flat shape. A hair folding and creasing brake device for creating pre-folded and creased triangular hair foils for dimensional hair color placement has a hinged sheet which is hinged so that foil sheets placed on its surface can be clamped and then bent to form a crease in the foil. A hair coloring foil is prepared by placing a foil or a pack of foils onto the device which is then folded over the foil to clamp the foil and then then folded again to bend the foil to impart a crease to the foil.

The present invention relates to the field of lightening keratin fibres and more particularly to the field of lightening the hair. The present invention relates to a process for lightening keratin fibres, in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, which consists in using on the said fibres i) a substrate comprising on its surface one or more chemical oxidizing agents preferably in solid form, and ii) an aqueous composition preferably comprising one or more chemical oxidizing agents. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing the said substrate thus pretreated.

In one embodiment, a hair lightening wand is provided, which includes an upper arm and lower arms having upper and lower heating plates, respectively. The arms are pivotally connected by a hinge. The upper and lower heating plates are separated by a gap of a fixed distance along an entire length of the upper and lower heating plates when the upper and lower arms are in a fully closed position. The hair treatment method of the invention treats hair by: exposing a surface of the fiber structure member (5) of the hair treatment tool (1); and bringing the fiber structure member (5) into contact with hair, and in this state, moving the fiber structure member (5) in a direction of orientation of the hair.
