A hair and scalp treatment device that comprises a dispenser connected to a cartridge, wherein the cartridge comprises a formulation; a plurality of tips on the device, wherein the tips have at least one opening to dispense the formulation; and a controller configured to control the dispensing of the formulation through one or more tips individually.

A device for treating hair or scalp, the device comprises a dispenser connected to a cartridge, wherein the cartridge comprises a formulation; a plurality of tips, wherein the tips have at least one opening to dispense the formulation; and a controller that controls the amount of formulation that is dispensed from the tips.

A hair and scalp treatment device includes a dispenser connected to a cartridge, wherein the cartridge comprises a formulation; a plurality of tips on the device, wherein the tips have at least one opening to dispense the formulation and at least one LED that emits light in the visible color spectrum, wherein the at least one LED is located at the end of the tips; and a controller configured to individually turn on and off the LEDs from the plurality of tips.

A device operable to apply coloring dye to hair while coordinating parting of the hair can include a reservoir sized and shaped to receive a coloring compound, a dispenser head in fluid communication with the reservoir, the dispenser head operable to dispense the coloring compound, and a parting comb attachment removably coupled to the reservoir. A composition dispenser with dynamically adjustable protrusions/bristles for delivery of a cosmetic composition to a substrate, particularly hair coloring agents. The composition dispenser comprises a protrusion unit including one or more protrusion elements and at least one dispensing orifices appointed for fluidic communication with a formulation reservoir. The protrusion unit is operably coupled to a length-adjustment element configured to adjust an exposed protrusion length of the protrusion elements along a direction perpendicular to a rotation plane of the length-adjust element.

The present invention provides a hair dyeing apparatus comprising: a body part having an interior space containing a colorant; a cover part connecting the body part and sealing the interior space, a handle part protruding from the cover part, a brush part formed in an end of the handle part, an application part including an outflow hole communicating with the interior space, and a comb part formed in the handle part toward an opposite direction to the brush part, wherein the handle part and the brush part are integrated as one body, and the comb part and the body part are integrated as one body; wherein the application part comprises a flow path disposed inside the handle part, an inflow hole formed in an inner side of the cover part and introducing the colorant, and the outflow hole formed in a combtooth and discharging the colorant.

An applicator for applying a product to hair, especially a hair colouring product, including: at least one first row of teeth extending longitudinally over a distance l.sub.1, from a first application face of the applicator; and a plurality of second rows of teeth, extending longitudinally over a distance l.sub.1, from a second application face of the applicator, which is arranged opposite the first application face, the ratio l.sub.1/l.sub.2 being lower than or equal to 0.75.

A dispenser for dispensing liquids into the hair is provided having a body with a handle and an arch shaped portion. Teeth extending from the body in the arch shaped portion are configured to disburse liquid from openings at distal ends thereof. The instant disclosure relates to hair coloring base compositions and developer compositions that can be incorporated into a hair color cartridge, which combines the compositions and dispenses them onto hair. The hair color cartridge includes: (a) one or more hair coloring base compositions and; (b) one or more developer compositions, which can be combined to form an active hair coloring composition and dispensed onto hair. The hair coloring base compositions typically include one or more oxidative dye precursors; one or more alkalizing agents; one or more reducing agents; optionally, one or more cationic conditioning polymers; one or more surfactants; one or more water-soluble solvents; and water. The developer compositions typically include one or more oxidizing agents; one or more surfactants; and water. The unique components and fluid characteristics of the various compositions are such that devices or appliances comprising them accurately combine and dispense the hair coloring base composition(s) with the developer composition(s) in a predetermined ratio with excellent consistency for application to hair.

A valve system comprises: a valve body; a valve cap; and a valve plug between the valve body and valve cap is compressed radially and axially, and a central bore extends wholly through the valve body and valve cap and partially through the valve plug. The valve system is welded to a packet which can contain a hair color formula. One or more of the packets are then used in a cartridge compatible with a dispensing device.
