The system includes a hair color packet assembly having one hair color packet and one developer packet and a pump assembly for moving the hair coloring material and developer material to a mixing assembly which mixes the color and the developer and delivers it to a brushhead/distributor, which has openings through which the selected hair color formulation is delivered. The brushhead/distributor is mountable in a handle having a motor which drives the brushhead/distributor in a linear oscillating manner.

One pouch for storage of multiple components of a mixture is described with a first compartment and a second compartment. At least one channel is defined between the first compartment and the second compartment and at least one seal is installed within the channel. Method of use the pouch includes: locating the channel; breaking the seal; and mixing the contents in the first and second compartment.

A device operable to apply coloring dye to hair while coordinating parting of the hair can include a reservoir sized and shaped to receive a coloring compound, a dispenser head in fluid communication with the reservoir, the dispenser head operable to dispense the coloring compound, and a parting comb attachment removably coupled to the reservoir. Related methods of use are also provided.

The instant disclosure relates to hair coloring base compositions and developer compositions that can be incorporated into a hair color cartridge, which combines the compositions and dispenses them onto hair. The hair color cartridge includes: (a) one or more hair coloring base compositions and; (b) one or more developer compositions, which can be combined to form an active hair coloring composition and dispensed onto hair. The hair coloring base compositions typically include one or more oxidative dye precursors; one or more alkalizing agents; one or more reducing agents; optionally, one or more cationic conditioning polymers; one or more surfactants; one or more water-soluble solvents; and water. The developer compositions typically include one or more oxidizing agents; one or more surfactants; and water. The unique components and fluid characteristics of the various compositions are such that devices or appliances comprising them accurately combine and dispense the hair coloring base composition(s) with the developer composition(s) in a predetermined ratio with excellent consistency for application to hair.

A hair coloring container system includes a bowl having a main body with an upper lip extending around the main body. An extension extends upward from the upper lip. The extension has a magnet element encased therein so as to not be exposed to hair coloring agent in the bowl. A brush has a ferromagnetic element encased therein so as not to be exposed to hair coloring agent in the bowl, and the brush is releasably attachable, in a storage position, to the extension via magnetic attraction between the magnet and the ferromagnetic element, and wherein the brush is positioned above hair coloring agent in the bowl when attached to the extension.

An integrated at least two component mixing and delivery system and method for creating a new mixture from a first component contained within a first enclosure and a second component contained within a second enclosure that is contained within the first enclosure and, via a series of operations that mix the two components and enable the application of through an applicator tip the placement of the new mixture on at least one surface or a portion thereof.

A formula delivery appliance generally includes a formula delivery head having features to mix, direct, and distribute formulation through nozzles to a desired location, such as the hair or scalp of a user. In this regard, the formula delivery head may include a plurality of nozzles configured to discharge the formulation at a desired flow rate. In some instances, the flow rate across the plurality of nozzles is controlled such that each nozzle has a flow rate within a specified percentage of the average flow rate across the plurality of nozzles.

A portable grooming device is detachably coupled to a shower, sink, or bathtub and includes a shower head style, flow-through hair-comb and flexible hose, through which water will travel, making the act of washing, conditioning, and combing one's hair, easier, more enjoyable, more effective, and more convenient. The portable grooming device includes a flexible hose configured to be detachably coupled to an existing water-supply source, and a comb in fluid communication with the flexible hose wherein the comb is detachably mated to the hose. Advantageously, the comb is configured to discharge fluid outwardly and away therefrom.

Discussed herein is a cosmetic system including a cosmetic applicator, and a cosmetic composition. The cosmetic applicator includes a deformable container that stores the cosmetic composition. The applicator includes an applicator head having a proximal end and a distal end, wherein the distal end is connected to the deformable container. The applicator also includes a slit along an axis of the applicator head and an interior channel in the applicator head. Further, the applicator includes a flocked brush covering at least a portion of the slit, wherein the flocked brush includes a plurality of fibers, each fiber having a length in a first range of 0.5 millimeters (mm) to 3.0 mm, and a decitex (dtex) value in a second range of 5-50.

Coloring of hairs are commonly done for various reasons. Commonly, a single hair dye is applied which leaves a uniform coloring of the hairs. However, many prefer having shades of hair coloring or two different coloring. Thus in this application methods and means are introduced that allows a differential coloring to be possible. In this method a hand held brush means allows a predicted amount of the hair dye to be carried to the hairs and applied. Also a special dye pan allows a predicted amount of hair dye to be applied to the brush units to make such goals possible.
